I don't get a check engine light but I do get a P0497 and P145C and my code reader shows the EVAP and CAT orange.

What pin do I push in to disconnect the connectors
There are two white connectors. Both have a push pin that unclips the connector from the female end.
Made the same mistake..got the one without the signal

Which pins? I only replaced the old bushings and nothing else.
Two extra bushings not used????
Correct. The kit comes with 2 extra bushings. These are used on other brands of trucks like a Dodge. You only need the 2 that I used for the Ranger.

No it did not. It was just very wobbly. You might want to get it checked out if it slips out of gear.
I had those codes on my accord 2008 I changed this solenoid but it didn’t solve the problem check engine light still there
You do need to clear the codes with a scan tool. Then, drive it the suggested mileage/time so the monitors reload. I drove for about 2 hours running errands and got the smog check done, and it passed.
