When I bring up the temperaments to people it seems like they are interested but I seem to lose their attention. It’s like I need creative ways to talk to them.

I think I get it, but I don't really see how melancholics like me can contribute to a parish mission, especially in cultures that prize extroversion and high-energy personality types

I really wish you guys got more views. Your videos are great and go over some pretty valuable insights for the everyday Catholic.

Yeah! Another temperament video series! I'm married to a 75% Sanguine/25% Chloric and I love him so much! I wish I had all these wonderful vids to watch when I first got married. I did have a book on the temperaments, but it was not a great resource. Your vids and others like them are very informative and help bring grace, understanding, peace and freedom to our relationships.

I’m a Catholic melancholic and your podcasts on the subject have been very helpful to start identifying patterns in me that I need to surrender to the Lord and also forgiving myself for them. Answer your question, I used to be a big timer controller. I realized that was link to: Being a single mom, having little patience and too much to do. Now, I practicing more awareness, praying more and practicing being more empathetic.

Loved this episode so much!! Listening to it multiple times because it really hits me at my core. I'm one of those people who has 2 or 3 pages of dreams that I write and then put away because I don't think they will all happen. Time to start bringing them to the Lord :D

“Why should I grow in empathy?” Hhmm maybe because God commands us to love others..if you have to have an explained reason to grow in empathy you are in a sad self consumed non Christ like mentality ..

There is no consent with a child that is being sexual abused. There is no sin and vice that the child consents to allow the enemy to enter in to him/her. So I think this needs to be elaborated on sin/vice and consent that allows the enemy in. EDIT: I heard you speak about the wounds imposed upon us by others. This could also be elaborated. Many people who enter their adulthood do not necessarily recognize or understand the effects childhood wounds have on their life.
