    I havent used fish tape for a pipe over 100ft in years. I pretty much always carry a vac with me and just suck a sting. I also dont like to send a fishtape down with an open end because when you pull it back there is a the good chance it gets stuck onto a coupling and cant get it back out. I had it get stuck on me before under slab so bad that i had to cut the parking lot open because the fish tape wouldnt pull back, obviously thats an extreme but enough for me to never do that again lol vacs work better 100% of the time and if you cant get it with a vac you wont get it with a fish tape. Just couple all your pipes good so you have a good air seal.

      That all being said I have used this method, nice video.

    Try vacuum and piece of plastic bag taped to the string. Tape piece of garden hose to plastic tip so you can get better suction… Even battery powered milwaukee can do miracles if you use compression style couplings. Other method that works is pushing fish tape in with channellocks, works 9 out of 10 times… just put tension on that tape once it is stuck and push hard… and if you have hard time fishing brand new pipe it only means that somebody did shitty job LOL

      Agree 100% ^ with everything you said lol though I usually use sealtight one size smaller then the pipe so it slides in then tape one spot back a ways so when you slide it in it creates an air seal works great.

    If you take your tester leads putting one to ground and the other to your hot wire (black in this case) you should get 120v ac. If you put one lead to your ground and the other to your ground wire (the bare) you shouldnt get any voltage at all. This also goes for the neutral (white wire)

      What is an example of testing between the ground and the ground wire?

    • @thecatadors911
      @thecatadors911 3 месяца назад

      @@nancypelosi2627 taking one lead to either the enclosure or the ground bar in the panel and your other lead going to your bare ground wire to the branch circuit your testing. If the bare wire is getting voltage without breakers tripping its either a bad breaker or there is enough resistance in the circuit that it wont trip it

    • @thecatadors911
      @thecatadors911 3 месяца назад

      Also wanna add that normally you will get a few volts in your main panel from neutral to ground. This isnt a sign of any issues if you see some voltage from neutral to ground
