The reason not to buy a glass top isn't because it might scratch. The reason not to buy a glass top stove is because the absolutely SUCK to cook on!

And these top door controls don’t work in a busy kitchen stuff crumbs coffee grounds and of course some milk or water or soda tends to land on the floor and those buttons get them off the top of the door. Does not work for families

I won’t buy any dishwasher that makes me dry the dishes as well I need “rinse and Hold” and of course and it’s not something that should need to be said but I want clean dishes

Cast iron is heavy but not very high [hc] so it won't scratch the cooktop, but if not careful it will certainly smash it.

sadly I broke my glass top with a cast iron pan. I have always HATED glass top stoves and still do. Sadly now to get a coil top range you have to order them separate and pay way more for them.

How prone are they to crack/shatter if something is accidentally dropped or hit against it? We've had bad experiences with old electric element glass cooktops.

I have a white glass cooktop and cast iron leaves crazy stains. Only way I've found to remove them is a brillo pad or razer blade, both of which simply take off a layer.

I have the KRSF705HPS . This refrigerator is garbage. Do not buy unless you want a troop of shoulder shrugging repair men doing their best to apologize for the poor design. It freezes over and the door is defunct. KitchenAide / Whirlpool will only help if you pay them $40+/month after the $3K price tag. It's trash.

I bought this model recently. So far, it does not clean as it should. My 20 years old Dishwasher was working much better. I will call technical support and see if it would be helpful.

This is nonsense. I've isn't clear because of purer water. Distilled water will freeze all cloudy too. It's clear because of the method of freezing.

Anyone running into an ice maker issue? I’ve had this freezer unit for about 2 years and the ice maker seems to have a mind of its own. I’ve doubled checked water supply and the on/off. My only solution has been to empty the entire freezer and turn the temperature up above freezing and thawing it out.

Is there a temperature control for the freezer and fridge.

So what does cause scratches on these stoves? It seems that on mine there are scratches, or scratch like marks that will not come out with cleaning. They are very thin and appear to have left an almost cut mark on the glass. I would sure love to know how to remove as well as how to prevent. I keep my stove very clean, but on one of my burners there are clearly scratches or cuts on the surface: I don’t know what caused them or if it’s possible to remove them. They do not appear visible from a distance, but with the stove light on standing above them I can see them. Very frustrating.

In the "Tools" menu there is an option called "number entry" that says it can change the layout so that time is entered via a number pad instead of as scroller. However, when I save the setting as "number pad" nothing changes time is still displayed as a scroller. How do I replace the scoller with a numberpad?

The only scratch I have on my glass cook top is more like a gouge because I moved an enamel coated cast iron Dutch oven that was full off a burner. Somehow I managed to do what you deem is impossible. And it’s a real scratch bc my fingernail sinks down in it.

I have a low profile microwave over my range. It’s interior is very limiting. I’m sorry I bought it. Next time full size!
