Hi! I'm the person who edited this (long story short I'm locked out of the og account I posted this on) & I just want to say your interpretation of Cas is absolutely valid, when I originally made this I only thought of Misha calling the confession a homosexual declaration of love and I completely ignored Cas' relationship with meg & his other flirtations with women. I personally view Cas preferring to be unlabeled (him stating himself that he has no sexual preference) and I should have clarified that in this edit. All interpretations of Cas are valid as I know a lot of people view him as either gay, bisexual, pansexual, asexual or demisexual, etc & draw a lot of comfort from sharing a piece of their identity with him.

You see sexual relation in strong friendship. They re nothing in the show and Dean loves sex. Supernatural shows lot of relationships of him. All with women. The show is not prudish. Besides if you read the script, you can see that Dean didn t feel the same thing that Cas.

That reaction to Dr sexy was not straight. He may prefer women and it's possible he's never been with a man but the attraction is there. Benny. Cas. That cute 'awesome' deputy. The chief.

Pretty sure angels are either attracted to no one or attracted to people regardless of gender (pan), but Cas did feel emotions and do stuff that angels normally don't do, so it might be possible. That's just my take on things

Yeah he is but rainbow looks better on him in art styles but I still don’t get why they use it in edits like this if they’re gonna use the rainbow flag regardless. I’m a big advocate that cas is bisexual and not just mlm gay and honestly the people ignoring the flirts and blushes and remarks and smiles hes made at women which confirms he is interested in girls as well-it honestly just feels like bi erasure. But when I posted my pfp I clarified that Cas is bi and I know that but the contrast looked better between the two. You can also look at it as the light coming off of castiel’s rainbow wings which is a head canon Misha is in full support of.

Bi-erasure was never my intention (I'm bi myself) & I completely overlooked Cas' significant relationship with meg & his other flirtations with women. Cas says himself that he is indifferent to sexual orientation & I personally view him as preferring to be unlabeled in regards to his sexuality. I should have clarified that in this edit. That's on me I messed up (I only thought of misha calling the confession a "homosexual declaration of love" rather than consider Cas' attraction to character to both genders & for that there's no excuse). I also only used the gay pride flag emoji for them (Crowley, Rowena, charlie, dean, cas & Claire) as my phone's keyboard doesn't have any other pride flags, the next time I make an edit like this I'll ensure that I use each individual flag to better represent the characters & the very real people they represent. Again I just want to apologise if I caused you any harm & I hope you can forgive me but I understand if you cannot. Just know that I am deeply sorry.
