Saw Errol Linton and his band tonight. Richey Green, the guitarist whose guitar Joe borrowed in this vid, is really excellent. I think they play every Wednesday at the Effra Hall and it's free. Great gig.

Beyond words …. Takes me up there

So good to find Errol still lifting the energy with his Harmonica. I've never witnessed a scene on the Underground like Errol and a terrific bass player created. The top of a down escalator was crowded with people enjoying your gift. Another time Errol just played for moi...I can''t remember the title or performer maybe Sonny Terry it had the words kiss/lips in it. He was humble and open and it made my day...well done Errol!

This is my kind of music. See you at the Acoustic Stage, Mr Linton sir.

Now this I like, used to see Joe B years ago way before the bid time, but he got real big, as did the cost to see him. So this has restored my faith, to see him back to roots is just great. Let's hope Errol hits big time as he deserves success.

Used to love dancing to his set down on the Southbank some years back! He always got the audience up and boppin!! Cerys Matthew's played this on her fab show today!!
