Very moving! thank you for sharing your experience, been diagnosed with cervical DDD, waiting to see neurosurgeon.
This is a great video. I had a different experience in America. The incision didn’t hurt but my throat is still sore almost 3 weeks later and still difficult to swallow certain things ( I don’t recommend English muffins). My upper back hurt bad, too. You could’ve slept better if you’d taken your pain meds. Hope you’re doing well.
Also I still feel weak and tired but not as bad
Tell us about your general anesthesia experience, the moment before they were about to perform surgery
@@thalai143 I had no issues at all going under general. Had it twice in a year and a half. As a matter of fact my mom was a nurse in the operating room at the same hospital I had my surgery. In 40 years she’s never seen any complications from anesthesia, unless there was serious underlying issues. They do a lot of pre op testing to make sure your lungs and heart are ok to be put under. I found it’s actually more of a mental war than a physical one. Hope that helps!
@ thanks a lot, I just came across your recent video and was concerned for your current health status, Infact I felt you were completely broken by the way you were expressing yourself. I have extreme OCD and anxiety about not being in control of my consciousness, Infact it’s General anesthesia part that gives me the chills. I do have severe cord compression so the Doctor said the only solution is ACDF, however I have nt done any surgery throughout my life so I am completely perplexed at the mere thought of a knife cutting through my neck.
You’re a great guy. Thanks for this upload

Those boots are to prevent clots ❤
Thank you for your informative video. God bless you.
You have exactly what I have,my walking has changed so much wide gate, shuffle gate,unbalance,c5,c6,c7, surgery in seven days
Best of luck to ya! I had a severe lower compression fixed a year ago too. That one put me in a wheelchair full time. The rehab hospital told me I’d never walk again, so I went home and taught myself to walk. I’m back to work teaching and only use my chair when I’m instructing in the shop. The surgery you are having will change your life- I bet you get damn near all your mobility back. Mine only got worse because of the unknown lower compression I had. I have that story on my channel too. Again best of luck and let me know how you feel after!
Ten days later I had the Anterior surgery on the back of my neck C-4 was clipped 😅to give access for spinal canal. Tomorrow is two months post surgery and no pain now but lot of pain from the nerves and muscle stretch and wear they separated the neck muscles. Walk everyday gate still not right but still go to PT twice a week. 12000 steps yesterday. Wish and hope the best for you
Hello friend. I suffer from problems as you. It started 2 years ago. Long story short. Numbers and tingling in both my hands and muscle weakness in hands and legs along with a stranger tightness feeling in my diagram. I’m scared and I don’t know what to do. Did the surgery helped you?
Yes the surgery got rid of 80% of my pain. I still have tingling and muscle weakness but the surgery without a doubt saved my life. The only time I use a wheelchair now is Costco and work. Other than that I’m on my own 2 legs without so much as a cane. Get your mind going the right way, your body will follow. 👍👍👍
How are you doing now? Please send a quick update.
How is your recovery coming along? Have you been able regain function?
