The first one had some overtones i didn't like. That seems to be the case with thicker and/or larger cymbals. The 2000 gram one was PERFECT.

Isolated I thought the 414 sounded somewhat better. I liked the 214 better when adding in the other 3 mics. Which is good because no one listens to isolated music😂
