use a hair drier on the seams you raviolli . And you can wet the seams but dont rub the fingers over it

Maybe wetting the seams on the back of the poster would have helped not rubbing the colour off?

Elias' letter, given to Esmeralda and now with her in Wallachia (I first posted this in our private FB group, putting it here so any interested fan later can see) In the margins above where the letter starts, in ink noticeably fresher than the salutation and beginning paragraph, Elias had hurriedly written: “Please regard the woman delivering this as warmly as you can! Do all in your power to accommodate her journey as you are able in provisions, food, rest and whatever else we are able to provide. She is a good soul, among the best, and deserves our help. She reminds me of the clan of the spirits.” In neater, clear and precise handwriting that follows, settled onto the paper a month prior: “Dearest brothers, I pray this letter finds you all well and safe. It is me, Elias. To start, and perhaps set a tone, many of you know I struggle with past demons and secrets. No longer will I hide and be frightened, and I embrace my new name fully. The pitiable Wilhelm is gone, and in God’s eyes may Elias be His new creation. I have seen, felt and faced unspeakable fears and tragedy, and no man nor demon have I allowed to beset me or shake my faith. What has happened is that I am presently trapped in a cursed land of mist. My pursuit of the vampire led me to a forsaken realm, and since stepping through I felt farther from the Lord than should be possible. I know that He is ever-present and always with me, and yet the darkness somehow permeated more strongly than His influence. The western believers would hang me straightaway for even saying such, but I tell you the truth! It is tantamount to being in a caged hell on our world, if I can presume I’m even still in our world. There is no hope - and so I have decided I must be God’s instrument here, and restore and deliver that hope, as even as far away from Him as I feel, he blesses me all the same with His power and hears my prayers.” There is a difference in the precision and care of the writing at this point - it shifts to being more casual, occasionally sloppy and excited, more recent than the above. “Brothers, I have also made some great strides in my efforts of melding the power of God’s earth wielded by the clan of the spirits into the miracles our faith allows us. The Belnades elder and myself were correct, I tell you in certainty - theirs is not a practice of witchcraft steeped in darkness, but a summoning of nature’s power, and therefore also of God. In much prayer and practice, attempting the Elder’s methods and my own ideas of implementation of focus, I can even bring the elemental spirits to my side. They appear as what we would call “fairies”, almost as if tiny angels, and will assail my enemies with many tiny castings of the same jets of fire, balls of lightning and stakes of ice that the Elder displayed for us - except blessed also with the radiance of God’s power, bane of these demons. We have earned his trust by taking in young Sypha, away from the tragedy she was in, and some otherwise of his clan warm up to us and our teaching as well. If we work together, and they come to be believers, the powers of darkness will be a faint memory. I would even say that what may come of this could put their lineage on footing with the Belmonts. Yes, I did write above ‘if’ I make it back. My return is not a guarantee. The mist world is fraught with horror unspeakable. If this letter is all that remains of me - my success alone should speak to the others of you and the Elder that this partnership is possible. I want above all else to return, but presently the others and myself have no inkling of how to dispel this curse we are under. Even so, I must persevere.” A final addition to the letter, more scribbly than the above, and with intermittent signs of frustration from a heavy hand, to faint sentences of near-apathy. “Strahd, the vampire lord, was defeated. He had corrupted sites across the land that fed him power, and we have purified all but one of these - and yet the curse remains still. I grow weary of my company - I do not understand their motivation. I know that my code, morals, lean and bias are not the world’s - but should even the world be friend to monsters and quick to murder? Esmeralda, a Vistana (scribbled in the margins to the side here is “the kindly lady delivering my letter!”) is one of the best of them - one of the few I can say for certain fights in the name of what is good, to the point even that she had the strength of character to not approve of the party’s actions and leave them. I want to go with her, myself, but it is impossible. Is my work here not done? I feel as if my torture has changed - it seems I must conspire with powers of darkness to fight darkness. The power of another vampire, perhaps stronger than the first, must be used here to finally defeat another - as they are framing it. I cannot help but feel this is nonsense.” Finally, a last, shorter section that is more like the first. “Apologies, brothers, for my attitude. God’s grace will keep me focused in this mission. I must see it through - I do not know how, but I cannot fail the people here. I must still deliver them hope, and restore their connection to our Lord. He is with me, His nature lends me its aid, and though I oft question their methods and decisions, my companions need me and I them. I know not if I will make it back alive from what I must do next, trapped still here or with you all, but I must do this work. I love you, Sypha. Please listen to those dotards.”

Yeah... so when I ask Jack to introduce himself 4 times... that's my most embarrassing moment in all of DMing. I think I was half listening while reading things and getting maps straight. Sometimes it's hard to be that stupid, and I am glad my friends didn't poke fun at me for this.

Listening back to the first episodes of the campaign while waiting for new episodes (and while preparing my own run of Curse of Strahd), I really like how the Death House was introduced in your campaign Mike. As written, being the first thing the characters encounter when they enter Barovia seems like a big stretch for imagination ("We just arrived to this village, why would we go barging in to a weird house with a monster in the basement?") I wish I had rewatched this session before running my first session :D
