Love josh & Triptides❤️
Nice!! Wine lips are wayyy good. Caught them last year twice, incredible show at Empty Bottle. Even better opening for Frankie!!! All of em good people.
The interviewer is a pain in the arse. Full of his vacuous little self.
Just my opinion, this young woman could earn big bucks as a freelance studio musician. Reckon there would be huge interest in her “feel”, talent & ability for her interpretative bass playing.
such a great guy, real courage throughtout his whole career so far, inspiring. i put it in the same category of these songwriters who do their own thing their own life, like bill callahan for example. musically may sound different, but their WAY is so similar, idk what im saying, just great interview cheers man!
47:44 "someone will bring something to the table." but you bring the cincinnati pizza? coz he's like the cincinnati kid? am i right?? i'm 45.
we have a street in portland called lombard -- the street i took my 250cc vespa to 87. and then i looked over the other day to see 35 mph speed limit. awwwww snap.
Saw Thee Oh Sees for the first time in 2010 when they opened for Pavement in Central Park, been a fan ever since and have caught them live a few more times. “Animated violence” live is a hell of an experience, best live band around, even the people I’ve taken to shows that don’t normally listen to Oh Sees leave with a sense of amazement at the whole show.
Yes! Thank you two for doing this and thank you for the music Nikki!!🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏
Drum wizard Quattrone 👌
Amazing drummer, greatest band live at the moment,.
"I got a picture if you wanna see it?" Wtf?
PAAUUUUUL, thanks bud!
Love hearing his perspective these guys are incredible live
This is so awesome growlers fan til the day I die ❤️🔥
Just saw Dan & Paul rip it up at the Bellweather last Friday. Such a great show!
Love hearing you talk about the growlers, thanks Scott for continuing working on the Growlers music
Amazing how I discovered the ohsees for myself through gta5 radio station 😭
me too dude lol. Oh Sees, Ty Segall, Bass Drum of Death, Metz, etc
I luv watching Paul and Dan go hammm on those drums perfect unison
Very good interview. I'm late to the party only finding Babe Rainbow earlier this year and I love their music. They have a great vibe of mellow psych with disco elements incorporated. Very tasty! Only problem for me is finding their cds. I'd purchase them all but I see that they're always sold out. Do you know where I can buy them from? ✌
dan if you see this, I love you man
Great interview! Bonnie's got the best taste. For years I've been telling people that there's never been, and never will be, a keyboard sound like the Wurlitzer. And I'd love to see Bonnie playing her guitar more . . . the lead tone on that Hagstrom is priceless.
Love Jimmy James!
Aww shucks thanks, love you too!!
No Trees In The Desert isn’t out
I kept watching to see if the ceiling fans would synchronize their rpm's......great interview! We usually have a few strong microbrews at the brewery before band practice, then sip and sober up on N/A beers back at the music space......all about managing the coasting into the landing
Paul got loaded! Hail Satan🔥
huh? getting loaded first thing in the morning is evil?
1. I reckon Paul is the most fun and easy personality of the Osees, no slight against everyone else intended. 2. I acknowledge/confess that the music of The Clash has been a happy-place type of music to me for a long time, but my remaining capacity to still enjoy that is extremely limited. I agree about Goo Goo Muck and New Kind of Kick. Those Lux and Ivy favorites compilations are quite good, BTW (e.g. Smell of Cramps) 3. Of course the Stooges albums. (Shake Appeal/Tight Paints has reminded me of Jerry Lee Lewis for some reason, in an amazing way, and a Fisher Body stamping plant that Iggy has talked about.) Suicide (1st album) and the first Devo album are 10/10--so is The Idiot. The Kinks--of course. 4. How does Sunn O))) & Boris Altar, Red Resistor, or Cosmic Interception go down out among the Joshua trees? On Land (Eno) and Eno, Moebius & Roedelius, After the Heat work for me out there.
Daaaannnnn!
Web (live in SF) would be thee best intro music for any race @lavuelta @nbcsports
Last time I saw the Osees it was a sourdough jack and two tacos after lol!
Caught Sharpie Smile show when they opened for Ty in Boston. Super cool and interesting. Love Dylan’s voice.
This was cool.
Timestamps would be great
Agreed graham parsons is definitely mid
My fuckin neighbor CLASSIC
Yesssss
Good stuff man. How do you get in touch with artists for interviews?
Osees, Gizzard, and Vineyard drops all in a day?? We’re all too blessed. Dan rlly is the man, his Zebulon sesh on RUclips is something I will always go back to. Just like that performance the whole Spotlight City album is great, even though it makes me incredibly sad. In a nostalgic sense yknow? Sorcs 80 is incredible, I’m ready to see Dan this October!!!
cant wait to see these guys in arizona, its been years since they have performed here. Congrats on 200!!
I <3 Dan
awesome
thx alot
certified legend, Joe Ghatt for the win
Wow love these interviews this kid does. 😊
Yooo we love Jimmy James!
Love you back🥰🥰🥰🥰
Nick is Number 1
love this!
Congratulations on 200!!! Paul is the best candidate for such an occasion, I’d argue the best Vineyard episode was Paul’s first. Many legendary episodes it’s hard to say. Vineyard forever!
Paul is the homie
Can’t go wrong with Paul, very fun episode. Would love to see Erik Jimenez (Together Pangea, Reckling) & Kevin Boog (Oog Bogo) on the podcast one day!
