Lena Luthor (I am not nothing)
Hey guys!
It's getting towards the end of the school year, so hopefully I'll have more time to edit over the next couple of months!
This video is about the Luthor family and Lena's personal battles when it comes to trusting them. I thought this song was really fitting for her, because she struggles deeply with working with them and trusting them, and both Lillian and Lex take advantage of her over and over in the show. A huge part of her character is trying to prove she is more than just a Luthor, so I think this is a really cool concept!
As always, let me know what you think down in the comments! I welcome any constructive criticism as well as any concept and/or song ideas for future vide...

So Good! There are definitely connections between Alex and Anna (having super-powered sisters, whom they nevertheless seem almost strangely---though touchingly---protective of). And Alex has had her demons (Daddy Issues, the bottle), which makes this song somehow even more appropriate to her, than to Anna. Really like it. Favorited!

There's a lot to like about this video . . . and then it turned out that segments of it were, well, _Lame(s)_ . Hey, ship whomever you want, that's cool. But a "Lena/James" tag would have been clarifying. For the future.
Hi! I'm so sorry that you found those sections of the video to be frustrating. I'm not personally a GuardianCorp shipper myself, either, I just found that those clips worked well for that section of the song. Since the video isn't primarily based around the ship, I didn't put the ship name in the title, but I'll certainly look into it if that begins to become more of an issue! I'm sry bit I have to say this where the heck is Alex??? There was like 5 seconds of her in the entire video. In my opinion it hasn't been about Supergirl women, it has been mostly about Kara, Cat and Imra. I don't understand how Alex is always so damn underrated. She rlly is the unsung hero of Supergirl.
Hey! So sorry you feel that way. I don't recall the making process of this video exactly, but I assure you that I was not intentionally excluding Alex. It is likely just that I felt the song fit other characters more accurately. I also have some other more Alex focused videos, and I definitely agree with you, she is incredibly important to the development of the show and plot. :)

Totally agree! He would have been so good in the army and the actor would have been able to leave the show either way. So sad they had to kill him off for the drama
@@superfandoms3788 they actually killed him off bc he mentally couldn’t handle working the show anymore. The actor who played Burke found out George’s actor was gay and made some rEALLY homophobic remarks to him. He also didn’t feel comfy playing a straight man and the writer wouldn’t even let George come out as bi to make the actor feel better. He needed a way to leave the show for his own well being so they killed him 😭 still really fuckin traumatic tho 😭😭
Yeah, I definitely agree with your point! I just meant that they could have found another way for the character to no longer be a part of the show so the actor could have left without causing so much harm to the character the way they did. He was already leaving for the army, which would have been a fine exit, but noooo, they had to kill him

Yep! Basically the actor who plays Mark, Eric Dane was already supposed to leave mid Season 9, but since Chyler decided to leave at the end of Season 8, both he and the producer, Shonda Rhimes agreed that it would be too painful for his storyline to continue without Lexie, so he was killed off earlier in the season.
