Cracked my housing only taking off the left side, 98 s10 it’s even more crowded. Some the bolts were stripped it was a total pain. But the core is out and I’m just going to patch it with glue or like this

I just did this job on my 91 s10. I ordered the suggested clips and it worked fine. I was able to do it by hand with the window already in the door. Tip. The side with the peg goes on the inside of the window. Push that side through the window hole first. I was able to then snap the other side in with my fingers. Hope this helps.

Also the pinouts pro the sockets are readily available on the internet. The smaller socket if for the rears speakers. The larger socket has, the 12v power, illumination etc

What if the bolt was facing the other way? Then the longer one would be folding into whatever it’s holding. Seems like what should have been said is the longer side will always be folded over on the end of the bolt/stud side.
