Seems like this could be very intermittent as finding a flat level spot is diffi ult and can change with riding conditions, the number of riders and other factors. Does jt self level at start up? It would almost have to, otherwise its not much better than a mercury switch.

Beautiful bike! I have a 2019 RT Ltd. I've added a Baja Ron Anti-sway bar and a Pedal Box because the commander was coding too often in 2019. I also have an FZ1, a Ducati Diavel, and a WRR. Of the two wheels, the FZ1 is the most perfect bike but I'm having to let it go because the rider position doesn't work too well with an old back injury. It kills me to let it go. However, if I could only keep one bike it would be the Spyder without hesitation.

The wires crowding the steering look like the would wear through from rubbing. How are they holding up? The problem with a camera install on a Spder or motorcycle is cable management. Wires in plain sight say " steal me", but you also need access.. Tough choices to make...

Great video, thanks! Lots of vids about riding the Spyder, but very little practical stuff like this. I'm buying my first ever Spyder RT in a fortnight, and the stuff you have just shown me will save me hours of fumbling about trying to work out how to navigate the various menus 😂

Do they offer a radiator grill guard for the front of the machine? I do not like the exposure of a critical component of the engine. I'm pondering the idea of buying one of these this year.

I will disagree, it is a motorcycle. Three wheel motorcycles have around for decades. It is just a different riding style, just like a sidecar. I own a 2020 with 22,000 miles and a 2015 with 25,000 miles. Both are good rides. Both are rt limited.

Just a note, you do know to open the front trunk or seat they can be open while the bike is running. Just push down and turn the key for which ever compartment you what to open.

I purchased a demo 2021 Limited. Along with 11 Harley friends took it on a 4500 mile trip in Aug. the trike didn’t miss a beat. No issues whatsoever. I’m a master bike builder and Harley guy but do to physical impairments I now have I can no longer ride a traditional motorcycle. Other than it sounding like a sewing machine I absolutely love it. I popped for a $1750.00 exhaust system right away. Now it sounds like a sewing machine on steroids. As to the “lean” you can still throw your weight into turns and lean somewhat. Going through all the twists and turns of the Ozark mountains was a total blast. The Harleys couldn’t shake me. I loved riding snowmobiles in the past and this is so reminisce of that. Although if you just want a smooth easy going ride it’s also perfect. The storage is great. I bought a panel to replace the rear trunk just for tooling around town and still it has had enough to be a grocery getter. Simply looks much better to me without the trunk. Like I said I built many custom bikes and appearance matters. There are lots of add on goodies from Sling Mods. I really didn’t care much for the wheels so I replaced them as well. I added a neon green ( bike is blue) pin strip along the lower body line. That really made it pop in my opinion. The trike isn’t something that really screams WOW! However it’s still an attention getter everywhere I go. Bottom line anyone reading this and considering buying one I’d have to recommend it 100%. Anyone who has questions about it feel free to comment and I’ll gladly respond. Thx for your video.

Did you ever determine if you can get to the oil plugs?

It almost looked to me like the holes you drilled in the fender for the amber running lights were just a tad too small for the wiring to fit through completely and that's what is causing the gap.
