Nice, didn't see you did a Part 2 to the previous vid removing the pants... so all his clothes do come off them, that's great, I gotta check and see what kind of sockets the arms and legs have to see if they can maybe be salvaged during the body swap, since the wraps around his arms and legs seem to be sculpted onto the body...

This figure's really problematic, because it's CLEARLY inspired by Orochimaru from Naruto, but then, it's like 1/10 scale, not 1/12 like it's advertised, so it doesn't scale at all with the SHF Naruto figures... But this video gives me hope, that maybe, with a bit of finagling, the clothes could be removed, and the hands, head and feet could be popped onto an alternate body that scales much better with the Naruto SHF line... Because I was REALLY excited about having this guy as basically a "Young" orochimaru, back when he was one of the 3 Legendary Senin, before he went full on villain... but his scale being completely off with other Naruto stuff, kills any hope of that... but since you showed the clothes being removed, I'm thinking maybe a body swap could be the solution... Would be cool to see is everything is removable, not just the pants.

And I guess you’re a mind reader bro - I just got the same Venom Marvel Legends, and was thinking to myself a couple of days ago how Mr Hobby Super Smooth Clear would look on it, and now I have my answer - and it looks awesome. I agree with you that the spray looks particularly good on skin - Tien looks way more premium than before. Definitely gonna pick up some as soon as I can. Thanks again for everything man.

Even though they're plastic one of the things that always bothers me is how glossy they always are, Especially when it's a figure not like a Venom and someone that's wearing a costume that would in a realistic context be very obviously made from a cloth of sorts. Definitely going to be giving this a try! Are you breaking them down at all or are you just spraying the whole figure ? and are you just giving them a quick once over or are you spritzing them like you would with an air brush ?

I am very interested in that spray but it is not sold in my country, so I need to import it. As you seem to use it, if you just discuss your experience of using it, and apply it to figures live in a video to show your process, as well as show other figures you have already done, that would be amazing.

Good evening Magnum West. I must say that I happened to like that particular look of Darkseid without the cape. The problem with this particular figure is that his arms can easily popped out when moving them. I wish he would have came with some more accessories. But then again, that probably would have made him a little more expensive. I mean he looks okay. I know there were a lot of people that purchased him when he first was released. I personally brought Beast Kingdom Darkseid instead. Yes he cost a whole lot more than DC Classic Darkseid. But I do get more bang for the buck. Get more for my money. But I do enjoy the way he looks without the cape. I noticed Atrocitus seems to be a little bit taller than Darkseid. Maybe it's just me. Lol. But anyway I just wanted to say that I enjoy your video. I really do. Maybe if this Darkseid arms didn't popped out so easily. And his legs wasn't so stiff, than I probably would have brought this Darkseid instead of Beast Kingdom Darkseid. Great review! Appreciate the not rushed , very involved, clear coverage and comparison of the statues. I’m sold on these, as I prefer statues , but agree I wish they did these larger, at minimum 1/6 scale, especially for such iconic poses. But they really captured the artists style and always wanted statues that copy the comic art work accurately . The Steve Ditko Spidey really pops and love that pose with the bright blue. Really hope you review the other released 1/6 McFarlane spidey…be great to get your take on it.- cheers,

I think beside size comparison, in terms of feeling, reviewer should add an in hand comparison, like it feels like a Mezco, or feels like this Mezco, or it feels like a ML, a Mafex etc...

Looks pretty good and from your video feels quite premium to me (always hard to tell the hand candy factor) I'm kind of torn now between this guy and the shf of Orochimaru...

Excellent review! I ordered both the white and black Ghost :D and it seems both were good choices they look awesome and for only 50 usd. I also agree with your opinion on the popular brands like Figuarts, Mafex, figma etc.. they need to balance the amount of accesories with the price because most of the time as the Gohan you mentioned it's not worth the price, I've ordered a lot of 3rd/no license figures and 80-90% were acctually good, a friendly suggestion, the Tunshi studio figures are top notch :D
