Are you curious about what a follicular study is and why it's important? A follicle is a fluid-filled sac in the ovaries containing microscopic eggs. On the 2nd-3rd day of your period, a group of follicles appears. By day 5, under the influence of the FSH hormone, one follicle becomes dominant while the rest degenerate.
