I planted some garic indoors as well as outside, to winter over and come up next spring... hope it grows as nicely as yours!! SUBSCRIBED!
Nice demonstration of plaiting. Thanks for sharing. Take care. Nick
These are beautiful wellies. The colour, the pattern. I love them! Don't care about the holes. My wellies have big holes also and I love wearing them. They start squelching after the first puddle. :-)
We had our things stolen too. Very upsetting.
keep going girl. don't give up i get it as well just don't let them get u down

Subscribe to your channel got my first allotment last December
hope you managed to get your garlic in- they love the freezing weather- and judging by mine and a few others- it could be a bumper year for garlic!!
Had a polytunnel robbed and a fence panel smashed in the last month on my plot, I wasn't angry I was more frustrated in not being there to catch them.
It is so frustrating. I'm so angry that people think that they have some sort of right to do this to other people's property. It's mindless, selfish and senseless :(
Glad things were fine on your plot
Thanks Horti Hugh, thankfully the overall damage was also limited for others, but it is just an issue which so many of us face and for so many who are not as lucky!
they do it all the time on my plot. worse thing about it is it's often people on the plot doing it. last time I get robed they took a set of hedge trimmers and a saw. 2 weeks later they got flung back over my gate. it really is annoying. I have been burgled at least 20 times over 2 year by a certain group of kids who have family members with plots they visit. it's absolutely descusting.
That is so heart breaking- they shouldn't be allowed to still have a plot if they are stealing from others- but I guess that's a case of proving it's them... hope this gets sorted soon :(
Allotment Cooks it's not the owners themselves it's their children and their children's friends doing it for drink money. You can't get the allotment owners of the plot because their not robbing the gardens. It's shocking but at least you know were to go if you get robbed. You just have to hope they still have your stuff to get it back.
keep going girl.......been there, and it would be easy to give up, keep going.
This method works very well in my aquaponics floating raft system. Chuck
Hi, I know what you are feeling right now. These people are just scum and if caught should be composted. Our allotments were broken into on three seperate ocassions this winter. The first on the 5 of november, which we think was just for a reccie of what was there but they smashed their way into every shed on the site. Then on the 12 of november they came back and took some tools. they came back on the 20 of December. Like you I was lucky, they didn't take my digging tools, but other people had theirs stolen. I have now remove my tools from my shed and after reparing the shed door I do not lock it. That way they can get in without breaking it again just to find that there is nothing worth taking. Its a pain but next season I will take my tools with me when I go to the plot and bring them back home afterwards. Have a great new year and a better season in 2017. Happy gardening, Bill.
that was my fear to be honest- that they were doing an initial reccie- but our committee have now installed CCTV cameras. So unfair to those who do have tools stolen- they may not be "worth" much to some people- but for many of us who have allotments they're not easily replaced and often have taken time to build up what we need for growing food. Bind selfishness- we all have to live on the same planet and we all face issues- but to negatively impact on others is just cruel. Hope you have a lovely 2017 and all the best
Allotment Cooks Hi, I know what you mean about being hard to replace the tools. Before I got my allotment I used to garden on two acresof land which belonged to my previouse house. Someone broke into my shed then and stole all of my tools. The only difference being, They where tools that I had inherited from my grandfather and every time I used them I thought of him. Although I replaced them with modern tools, they don't seem to feel the same when I use them. The memories are not there anymore. Thanks for your reply. Regards, Bill.
Billsbasementworkshop that is so sad. I hope those who took your tools and warm fuzzy feelings when using them receive the same punishment tenfold in the future. You will always have your memories, they can't steal them. All the best, Poo
Invest in a ltl acorn 6310 wmc 940nm led trail cam. We have them on our site after ours got broken into they killed chickens stole veg and wrecked the place. With these cameras you stand a good chance of catching them. They take photos and videos and send them to an e mail address or mobile phone.
xxxxx Our allotment committee have now installed CCTV cameras. They may still get in- but it will be harder for them to get away with it!!!!
Bless you girl just mindless morons... Have subscribed, keep up the good work..
Don't get upset , there not worth it, x all the best have a nice xmas ,
Absolutely agree- was more angry by the end of it- but very lucky- feel for other's who aren't so lucky
My wife and I feel for you, we would be as upset. There will always be morons and scum about, but luckily there are MANY MANY more good people. Remember we get a lifetimes pleasure from growing and creating, the morons will never understand that. Allotments really are amazing places.
They absolutely are. I just got so upset, because so many people have plots for so many reasons. Older people as a way of keeping active, socialising- whilst growing food to eat. Families- to get the children out and active and learning about food- whilst growing food to eat and people with physical and mental illnesses as a way to recover and work towards wellness- whilst growing food to eat. Anyone who targets this group of people don't seem to realise that they're attacking people who are just trying to on with life.
Lovely video and your videos look well thought and beautiful! I have just subscribed to your channel and Liked your video. Do you keep hens also? Must admit, I would love to keep chickens, but our allotment doesn't allow them. I am actually quite glad about that at the moment, as if the plot had been attacked and I had chooks there, I would have been in even more of a state worried about the girls as well.
looks fun
new subscriber just GT GT video the best go see your children so into comp the next generation of gardening see you soon 🚶🚶🌽🐀🐦🐝🐞👍👍
Thank you- my son is currently digging up the garden- unfortunately it's the lawn area... shall be sorting out my strawberry runners and have promised him that he can plant them up!!
Now officially AWARD WINNING Lemon Curd!!!! It may "only" be the local horticultural show- but I got a certificate and a trophy and everything!!!! Guessing those guys know their curds.... and this one was judged to be this year's best!!!! Hurrah!!!
Damn, you go girl, I want to eat
WOW, I must try this, great video, just liked and sub'd. perhaps you can help me ?
Was a very successful recipe! I must say- I doubted myself, even though I cook all the time, but it all came good!!! A little bit of faith, a touch of "go for it" and there we are!!!!
well jayne, has it set yet? looks lovely
It's not a solid set- but it sits well on a teaspoon, which I'm hoping will be just right for the judges next weekend!!! Also have the "extra" pot to use on pastries, for the pastry class... possibly lemon meringue!!! Think I will be braver next time and just go that little longer with the higher temperature. Very pleased to have a recipe without cornflour. I think that would have spoiled the taste.
I know a good cobbler who could glue those wellies 😝😌
see- I didn't know that cobblers fixed Wellies- there is something new that I didn't know... shall be making a visit for some super strength glue!
