One year anniversary of my chemo hair loss
My hair loss journey. This was an intimate moment for us one year ago today, lots of emotion. But what I see looking back on this day is two people walking through a deep valley with as much courage and grace as possible. Gifts from our loving Father. He was so good to us through the whole journey. This brief video only catches a glimpse of it. Lots of people have a similar story. This is ours❤️

This was a big doctors appointment to establish a couple of things. One of them being a possible second surgery, and the other being chemo. She told me at my last appointment where we discussed my pathology report that I have a possible positive margin and might need a second surgery to clear it, and also that I would need chemotherapy. At first we had thought that my cancer wouldn’t be bad eno...

I have cancer

This is a quick video we originally made to send to close family and a few friends who knew we were going to get results from my biopsy. I knew I didn’t have the energy to contact them all one on one, so we just stopped and recorded this video to let them know.
InchaALLAH. God will heal u. 🙏 Be strong. Positive always.
Thinking about you and hoping you are not having a difficult time with chemo❤
Thank you so much! I’m actually doing great this cycle!!😁🙌🏻
Love you, Bethany. Praying for you. ❤️
Aww, thank you so much!!❤🤗
Good work finishing your project yay! And so good to get another chemo done!
Yes!! One more done!!👏🏻👏🏻🎉
Wishing you the very best with your cancer journey❤ i also was diagnosed with ILC this past July. I had no symptoms other than finding a large lump on my upper right breast. I found the lump in July, was diagnosed in July, and chose to have a mastectomy which also happened in July. My oncologist recommended the standard treatment, chemo, radiation, etc. Before i decide what to do next i asked for an Oncotype DX score to determine reoccurance. Did your Dr. Do this test for you?
Thanks for the comment❤️! And I’m so sorry you’re on this journey too😔! In my case, we discussed Oncotype dx, but it’s time consuming for us, and has to be sent to the States. So with my tumor size, my Ki67 being 70%, lympho-vascular involvement, etc, the team felt chemo was indicated, and I felt comfortable trusting their clinical recommendation, and not waiting on the Oncotype score. If you can get it, though, that’s great! I think it’s great information to have!
Oh no, so sorry the mucositis is still going strong :( Hope the special mouthwash helps!
It’s a better week this week👍🏻, but it’s been so bad!!😩
We love you all and are praying.
Thank you!! Love you all too!!❤️
What are your hormone markers? Just curious. My first diagnosis of ILC was ER/PR + and then HEr2-. But when it came back it was Her2+ .
I’m not Her2 positive. My ER/PR numbers were almost 100%. It must have been scary when it came back HER2 +!! Because I’m not HER2+, I thought I wouldn’t have to do chemo. It was a huge shock when my doctor told me they were recommending chemo at my pathology appointment.
Joy! Yes! You can truly have joy in the midst of trials. God gives us the ability to live a joyful life despite our circumstances. Happiness depends of what happens. Joy comes from Christ. I look back on pictures from the last few years and see how yes I had multiple types of surgeries and cancer treatments but I also made so many memories with my family and loved and loved life joyfully.
Yes!! I love that we can have peace and joy that only comes from Him in the midst of our storm! It’s such a powerful yet precious experience! I’m thankful for your testimony through your journey! It’s so encouraging to me and others❤️
What type of chemo are you having? It sounds so similar to mine.

Didn’t you have annual physicals?
Yes, I did, but it didn’t catch my cancer. It’s unfortunately pretty common with the type of cancer I have.
