They have a file transfer built into iOS. The only problem is I'm an android user. He'll need to get a file transfer program like the one I described. See if you can find that on your version of the Play store I guess and then follow the same steps. It should work

You going to need to get a fall transfer program like the one that I have look for the same program for iOS or might be one and transfer it over to your Apple phone and use the same procedure

@@ratulhasan3812 I'm very sorry I don't have an iPhone. I don't actually like them. My girlfriend has an iPhone you. What you need is a file transfer program and then connect your iPhone. It's a little higher than 50. Supposed to do a firmware update and change it back to what the action 4 was which would be 130. I think that that will change things around firmware updates can really change a camera quite a bit for better or for worse

I'm hoping there is a fix with the firmware update coming soon. They had a similar problem with the Action 3.

@@blueCollarGuy what’s your workflow if you don’t mind me asking? Do you use Davinci resolve to color grade? If so, are you applying any sort of sharpening or zooming?

Thank you. I'm hoping that you can get the bugs worked out of this camera so that I can get the image quality up. I've noticed some people are managing to get better image quality out of their camera than I cannot of mine. Maybe it's their editing program? I'm not sure

I use the DJI osmo action 4 and the DJI mic 2 to record and they survive just fine. You were plugging in an external microphone. I would have been worried because the water would have got in the USB port? It works really good for that situation

Thanks for watching. I'm hoping that the osmo action 5 Pro. It's a firmware update because in my latest video there was a little bit of artifacting. I'm not sure if it was the bit rate or just the compression from RUclips

I agree this might be the worst action 5 footage I've seen. I've seen footage that looks incredibly great but this is extremely weird. The warping in the beginning I have never seen before...

@@rohan7011 I made another video up converting the HD 240. Tell me what you think of that footage might be a bit of an improvement. I think there might be a conflict between RUclips's algorithm and the way DJI is processing your footage

Hi there. You don't add water directly to the base . You add water to the top part only and to the fill line. Never put water in the tube part where the vapor comes out as that would render the unit inoperable. Remove the top lid and fill the large opening to the max line. Use distilled water only. Don't use tap water or spring water because it will cause mineral deposits that will also damage the unit. You can purchase distilled water at your grocery store. It will clearly be marked distilled. You can also make distilled water. I did a video on how to make distilled water by by buying a unit that also can make your own and you can save money doing that. However, it is time consuming and you will be making a lot of still stilled water doing using that. So the choice is yours whether you want to make your own and save money from not having to buy it or buying it from the store, the unit itself what we'll use one roughly 4 liters per day. The GPS remote does work on the DJI osmo action 5 pro. I don't own one but it won't work on the osmo action 3. So for me it would not be as effective for what I do.

I sent it back so I don't have that information. I purchased it through Amazon. I think I gave that information to Hohem and they said to return it. I have purchased a hohem isteady pro 4 since and have had no problem with that model but I have seen videos with issues on that as well. I actually like hohem products and think they have great creativity but their quality control needs to be improved. Have you had issues as well.

You need a UVC to HDMI converter. Obsbot makes one I did a video on it under DJI pocket 3 video switcher. The gostream 4 channel has one built-in but it's a bit slow.

Hi there. No webcam mode is regular mode and there is only USB c.

If you set it to that. When you go to camera mode . It should be on HLG . An easy way to test it is to set it to HLG and use the instant on record feature to see if it remains on that settings. I can test it for you if you wish

I'm almost positive it should retain the last camera settings because when you switch from picture mode to video mode, all your settings that you've put in there should be retained under that. So I'm guessing that it should, but I'll confirm that for you

In webcam mode it's doing 1080p 30. So the pocket 3 used to do 1080p30. They did a firmware update a little while ago. I did a video on that and then they upped it to 4K 30. However. 4k30 is very difficult to stream. Just so you know you need very good internet to stream 4K30. Most people stream in 1080p 30 because they don't have the bandwidth to support that much data being streamed all at once. To give you an idea, the insta 360 Ace Pro which is an 8k camera only streams in 1080p30 as well. This has to do with bandwidth. The other reason why most webcams only stream in 1080p30 is because you can actually get a better picture with 1080p30, meaning it's less glitchy than if you're at is streaming 4K and again that has to do with most people's internet connection because they don't have high band with internet so it's not uncommon or frowned upon to be streaming in 1080p30. A lot of video switchers also are only 1080p 30. There are some that are 4K but they caution. People say you may have a lot of glitches and internet connection losses if you stream in 4k rather than 1080p 30. So it's a pretty complicated thing once you start streaming because you're streaming in a different type of compression than when you're recording.

The pocket 3 started out the same. They did a firmware update and changed it later. They will most likely do the same thing with the action 5 pro. I mentioned in my video they should have also put a micro HDMI out. Hopefully the pocket 4 will get that improvement. Thanks for watching.

@@Wave_Drop The DJI osmo park 3 had a firmware update so that it could do webcam mode in 4k30. I don't think they're going to do that with the Action 5 Pro because a lot of people won't be using it as a webcam and it's only going to really be using for streaming when people are out and about linked with their phone given the fact that when you're out and about 1080P streaming is difficult enough can result in glitchy and choppy footage because it all depends on the cell tower that you're locked on to. If you're getting 5G or LTE that sort of thing, they did it with the pocket 3 only because some people are using it as a studio cam and therefore they're using their home internet which could be a lot faster. Unfortunately, unless your home internet is quite fast, streaming in 4k is almost unusable and undoable because you're going to have all kinds of problems. That's why a lot of video switchers are still running 1080P the other problem is a lot of people can't afford to stream in 4k cuz you'd have to sign up for super high ultra fast speed internet

@@lutzmix if you use the GPS remote, that is for the DJI osmo action. 4. It will work the action 5 Pro. However, you can't use both remotes at the same time. Only one remote can be linked at the same time because I don't use GPS overlays. The other remote for me is more functional because I like to do multi camera shots. I think that the other remote can control more than one camera, but I don't know if it can do GPS overlays and all of them at the same time. I don't own that remote

I was thinking the same thing. I do know that the efficiency of the DJI action 5 Pro is better because they're using a lower bitright in a different, more efficient sensor. This prolongs battery life. The DJI action 4. Won't have the same opacity however if you were to take the DJI action. 4. Energy consumption and divide that by 1770 and then times that by 1950 you should be able to come up with a rough estimate of how long that newer battery would last

If you were to take 1770 and divide that by 120 that would be filming at 4k30. That would be 2 hours and then times that by 1950 you should get roughly 132 minutes. Camera efficiency and time will depend on many factors, but that's my best rough estimate

Hi there, I'm using it on an Osee gostream pro video switcher. With the obsbot UVC to HDMI converter. I experienced no green glitch whatsoever.

It's actually a DJI remote for the action 2. No unfortunately it doesn't work with the pocket 3. You can use the link button on the DJI mic 2 to start and stop recording.

Thanks for the comment. Yeah I know what you mean about third party batteries. I bought some for my GoPro Max they swelled up and were hard to remove. I think it's best to stick with the original even if they cost more. I wasn't aware of the loss of camera functions , that's a new one for me. Good to know. Take care.

It connects through WiFi. I believe WiFi 6 now. The DJI mimo app asks for location when using the app.

Not sure about the audio because I use separate audio. A gimbal could help with stabilization or post stabilization. Thanks for your response. I will check the audio next time. Would like to do muticam video in a portable format like the yolobox switcher via 5G. Seen RTMP but prefer wired connection. Going wireless then wireless again and a wireless mic 2 seems a lot.

I believe they lowered it for battery life and overheating. Have you seen any artifacts in the footage. I have seen several reviews and only the low light and highlights concern me. A firmware update can also change the transfer rate so it's not carved in stone

@@blueCollarGuy I agree with you. I think DJI used a faster processor. At the same time, the company lowered the bit rate. At the same time, the company used a battery with a larger capacity. This resulted in the Action 5 having better operating parameters - it overheats much later and works longer on the battery. It sounded attractive, right? For a vlogger, such parameters will be sufficient. However, at the moment, the image quality is very disappointing. The face looks like a mannequin mask. And this is visible in various testers - not only in yours. The recorded video is matte - in my opinion worse than Action 4. Maybe a software update will correct this defect. I am very interested in buying Action 5. And I will probably buy it as a successor to Action 2. But at the moment, this purchase would be a bad spend of money.

Hello there. Thanks for the question. Webcam mode is limited to 1080p 30fps. For now (possible firmware update in the future). You can link it up through UVC or obs on the computer. I use a UVC to HDMI converter by obsbot. Check out my video on the pocket 3 osee gostream video switcher. The low light settings need improvement but I'm hopeful with firmware updates. DJI always does updating. The pocket 3 can do 4k 30fps webcam mode. I also did a video on tiny but professional lights. Take care.
