Not many 6hp John Deere EK engines around-nice to see!🙂
Always like your videos Rich Sr.
Awesome
WHAT?? You left the oiler on? Oh no! 😱 Lots of people do that. I do that.😂😂😂
Great video Rich
Nice footage. I didn't even know horizontal Monitors were made that big.
I remember visiting my aunt in Lee's Summit and going to shows like this one. I loved it! Great video, man!
You never see any Bulldogs at shows. Makes me sad.
Every once in a while there is a couple, I know a couple people here in Missouri that have Bulldogs, I ran one up at a sale about 10 years ago. not seen to often and migrated in, some farmers where very poor here in Missouri and not as many of them sold in this area I dont think.
@@richmuellersr18 That makes sense, I just swear that I never see them at all, even at shows here in Iowa.
Gade's are my favorite engines. They look like a machinist's first scale engine blown up to real size. And they run like clocks
I’m trying to decide if I should drive to the show. It does look nice 😎
Looks like a great tractor show 🤠👍
Magnifique ... 😉👌 😂...- there still a little jonk on the tank , that's why .!! Bravo .. Nice ...?? This !!!
Nice!!
Nice! Looks like it's gunna be a good show!
Hi
Maravilha 😁 😁
I have a John Deere hit and miss that has a bent crank shaft where one fly wheel is out of alignment. I don't know how to straighten it myself or what business could do the work for me. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Not off the top of my head, but, on John Deere engines a good check is for cracks around the bolt holes in spokes, they are known to break there..
@@richmuellersr18 Thank you for the tip to check for cracks around the bolt holes in the spokes. The guy I bought it from said that when his brother cleaned out the barn on the family farm he threw it off a wagon into a ravine they used as a garbage dump. That's where it was rescued from and how the crank was bent. I'm guessing that there are likely cracks as you describe. I'll have to do some more inspecting. Good to know what to look for. This is my first time repairing (or trying to repair) a hit and miss engine.
You might go on smokstak.com, look on sponsor page, for Jim White he has a bunch of parts it might be cheaper in long run to replace crank and wheels. I had to do that on a 1926 1.5, it got tossed in a tornado in Neb where the twin tornadoes where a couple yrs ago, but in the 40,s, we got it from Mom's relatives.
@@richmuellersr18 I'll have a look at the webpage and try to contact Jim White. Thank you very much for your advice! Best regards!
How much would this engine cost if it was for sale ??? Nice and simple too.
Nice engine
How does this engine operate? I mean, two pistons on a single working cylinder?
Wondering that too, separate compression cylinder?
That would be if it was a gasoline engine, wont work with diesel. The idea is to compress the charge alone in one cold cylinder, using less power and the transfer to the working cylinder which is hot at TDC for combustion. Brayton made some city gas engines working like that.
@@Tore_Lund yeah, but in Brayton engines, the two cranks are in opposite position, which is not the case here.
@@Skoda130 I don't know much about engines, but this one is obvious. The 2 pushrods are linked to the flywheels 180 degrees from each other on each side. As one compresses, the other is exhausting. It's a very simple motor.
Many thanks for sharing 🌹🌹🌹
Nice seeing old iron well taken care of and in action - thanks for posting
You don't see this engine anymore when you are at Old threshers
Nice👍👍👍

Very stupid and poor vidéo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.................................
Shit boooooooooo
2021 was the BEST Old Threshers in the entire history of the event !! Kudos to all those who made it possible. It was for me the most enjoyable !
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found; Was blind, but now I see. Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come; ’Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home. The Lord has promised good to me, His Word my hope secures; He will my Shield and Portion be, As long as life endures. Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail, And mortal life shall cease, I shall possess, within the veil, A life of joy and peace. The earth shall soon dissolve like snow, The sun forbear to shine; But God, who called me here below, Will be forever mine. When we’ve been there ten thousand years, Bright shining as the sun, We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise Than when we’d first begun.
Cool. And we restored the Lincoln 1894 Ruston steam locomobile from a steam crane and launched it, watch the video in my profile if you are interested
Se tem dó de motor deixa em casa.
Horsepower: 5 Torque: YES
That thing is an engine more like a peace of shit way to slow to power anything
Not necessarily. Low revving engines are great for things like large water pumps.
@@VinnyMartello wood splitting, auger, riddle, concrete mixer, refrigerator, ventilation for mine, crushing corn cobs, washing wool carpets,
@@Mcfreezedjfreeze2024 Might I ask you then, why were slow-running engines (both steam and combustion) popular for around 200 years? The industrial revolution wasn’t powered by this thousand-rpm nonsense we have today!
@@Mcfreezedjfreeze2024 that pos will be running and powering flatbelt equipment long after your 10,000rpm honda vibrator dies
..Nice.. I could learn from Clarence..
A really nice man that was a real good friend of my late father and family friend for a long time!!
That's a very cool engine! Runs great too!
It needs a few things, springs i hope but a lot of slop in valve guides ,notice it will spit out carb once in awhile. And some gear noises, thinking about stripping red barn paint to see what's under it, or maybe repaint..
Very nice! Runs great!
Thanks Clarence Lammers alwaydoes a good job on restoring engines..
For Sale
How hard are these engines to find with original cart in original condition?
I had the cart, was hoping to find one of these , and a friend had it. Not for sale ,sorry..
I hope you got some footage of that Big fairbanks firing up! Those things are sick!
Nice! Looks like a good show!
Some neat stuff there! Would love to see some footage of that monster 12HP running if you can snag any!
Nice engine.
Is that a new cart? If so, where did you get it? I’m looking for one for a 4HP F&J
No this is a electric wheel cart. On smokstak.com sponsor page look for Jim White the carts he sell would look good under it had one under a 3 hp ijust sold..
Very neat! I like it a lot!
Nice Show! Excited to put up the videos I have of our local show and the Jacktown show soon! :)
Dang, I wish I was there!
