I loved collecting lighthouse and it reminds living in orkney
I used to lie in bed when I was a kid in the summer with my window open and hear the foghorn in Teesbay, it's a sound I'll never forget.

I know this lighthouse is used by the University of Aberdeen as a Field Station, but can the general public be allowed to go inside as well?

@@followingthelights Thanks for the info. I asked because I'd seen quite a large number of photos taken of the inside of the lighthouse, and they weren't taken by members of the University.
There is also the association of lighthouse keepers which run organised trips to lighthouses. This has a subscription and magazine. It will provide information on lighthouse around the world too.
