Generally I try to keep the peace when I’m fishing. I don’t want some busybody ruining my calm. But there does come point when it’s too much. If I’m in a spot I know for a fact is perfectly legal I will push back. Normally, I don’t but when the moment calls for it I’ll push back twice as hard. If cops get called, I’ve had to establish that I’m legal then I pushed for harassment charges. Cops don’t like to do that (lazy policing) but they usually read them the riot act and things go back to normal quick enough.

Our fishing license money should go towards cleaning up hooks and whatnot. There is no reason that the bridge should be off limits to the fishermen. I pick up so much more trash than the hikers ever do. Roger probably chases you all away so he can catch the whoppers under the bridge!

You needed to tell the cop he isn’t a DNR officer that is who he needs to get out there. Cops don’t enforce fishing and hunting laws so he needs to get someone who does. Forget about being nice enough is enough. Also so the second cop states the county said they walked it from a different spot, so where is this different spot she claims they say they measured? Ridiculous like you said you can’t prove it move on . You can file harassment charges against the cops as well.

I fished here tonight and saw multiple groups of people fishing when I arrived. Roger was outside and he paid us no mind. I was taken back once I walked up to the bridge, I KNOW THIS SPOT!
