Yes, 57s are often used around the house. Drainage is the main reason as well as for foundational purposes.

Crushed screened stone is not gravel.

Yes, many uses for pea gravel stone. Using as a "mulch" is one of them, pathways are an excellent choice as well. Check out the Small River Rock or Medium River Rock as well, great choices for "mulching" too.

Should you use it in flower bed instead of mulch

It doesn’t compact per se but it does lock into place. It is an angular stone which is a great choice for a dog run or pathway. Rounded stones like pea gravel isn’t the best option. Thanks!

I'm thinking of using this for a dog run, I don't like how loose pea gravel is. If compacted down, does this maintain a firm surface for dogs to run on?

Hello Billy, we do not offer #804 Limestone so I am not familiar with that product. We are in central Ohio and do not have that type, but I suggest going with the professionals are suggesting in your area.

We are putting a kennel in my landscaper used limestone 804 it's white and gives off a powder residue. According to the msds it can cause eye irritation and breathing problems and skin irritation. I told my land scaper to get ride of it. What a mess
