The scariest part of this, for me, is the fact that these were clearly NOT on Shin during the freezing scene. Shin wasn't moments away from evolving these, Shin is STILL evolving these. Slowed down, but not fully stopped...

Imagine those things running around new york and not only theyre the same shape and sizes as us humans. But they can legit spew atomic breathe from theyre mouths but on a smaller scale and they're more physically powerful than us but can vaporize tanks and there would be probably milliona of them surrounding shin Godzilla in another evolutionary form

This ending was damn creepy, and it just ends like that. No questions, no music, no explanation. Everything is just up to viewer to think about it, what would have that been if the monster had not been stopped in time.
