Recorded 10th of April 2022, 4625 kHz USB in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands.
Footage is unedited, other than a join around halfway. Made a mistake with the capturing software so not the entire screen is visible. The audio is though.
Thought this was an odd-enough and might be a little historic in those rough days for Ukraine... Because of the war I have set an age restriction for this video.

Strange SWR-behaviour - Can anyone explain?
I have this strange SWR behaviour. I am not sure if this is something developed later or that it's from day one. Rig: Icom IC-7300 Switch: FA-AS 7300 *) QRM Eliminator *) Triplexer: Diamond MX-2000N *) Antenna: Diamond V2000 *) - Has been taken out of the equasion When on 6m, I turn up the power slowly, the SWR creeps up until a certain point (around 30-35%) it drops back to 1:1. When lowering ...
QRM Eliminator - difference between enabled and disabled.
A very short video and unedited where I switch off the QRM elminator to demonstrate the difference. - Receiving antenna is the DX Commander - kind of default setup with a coaxial trap on the 40m element to lengten it to work on both 40m and 80m - Auxilary antenna is a wire hanging out of the window, connected to an improvised ground-rod (it was already there, decided to try what happened) Does ...
Setting up Icom IC-7300 with FL-DIGI

Setting up Icom IC-7300 with FL-DIGI. I know I have to severely work on my narrating skills. An updated video with narration might replace this one in the near future.

Changed behaviour on 4625 KHz - usually here's the buzzer, now a carrier with radar-like sounds.

Sounds Great to Me. Finally some great music.
Great music! I followed your instructions and it worked! Tnx, 73!
Save a Preset on the SD Card for FT8, FLdigi, CW then SSB. Then when you want to operate just load what you need. Makes operating easy.
Isn't it the radio protecting itself? Swr is high then the radio outputs less power, so the swr is in a safe level
Actually it isn't. The SWR really suddenly drops while the power remains the same. I still have to go on the roof and take it down for inspection to figure out what the issue is, although I have a suspicion
Need to speak the instructions.
Thanks, Anton! I'll need to double check my IC-7300 settings when I am by my radio. flrig works but I may need to make some fine adjustments.
QRM? or QRN? I hear/see very little noise om this video. At my home location the noise floor is S9+.
You've got some odd stuff going on with the ALC meter and the current to the finals (Id) as the power alters. if the apparent SWR varies as you increase power it's usually a sign of component breakdown, ferrites hitting Curie temperature, and so on but the change should keep happening as you increase power.
Heel apart! And no idea what causes this behavior, do you get the same with an external swr meter? 73
I've seen SWR change with power output but not like that. Good luck getting it sorted out Anton
Dat is inderdaad vreemd.
Wish my noise floor was that low :-) I am slowly working on it though. Not tried One of those Eliminators yet though.
Great job Anton 👍
Great presentation, thanks Anton
Well done! Thanks for sharing. 73
Hi Anton, interesting! I never looked into random wire .. But now I will, thanks! 73
I really like that tshirt :)
Your radios are beautiful ♡♡♡
I appreciate your explaining that :) 🤜🏻👍🤛🏻♡♡♡
You're welcome. Bit nervous but still. English isnt my first language. Tshirt has been made by my sister shortly when I got my full license.
Very cool!♡ I am recently interested in the random wire :) 🤜🏻👍🤛🏻
Nice Video - hope to see many more!
Thanks, nice shack. And I like that antenna switch as well.
I will try to do a more extensive video on that one as well as it is really neat. I also have the PTRX-7300 board installed to get signals passed through to an SDR
Nice radios 👍
Thanks 👍
Thank you, much better than any video I have ever done.
Good video 🤘
Wow! That antenna switch is very cool! Nice shack, Anton, 73 de VE3GKT
Great observation my friend. The buzzer is being heard now, maybe they had some technical difficulties. Cheers 73!
Hi, Ethernet uses Radio Frequency Signals to carry data. What you are seeing is fairly typical signal leakage from the Ethernet cable. It is possible to buy shielded Cat 6, 7 or 8 cables that will reduce but not eliminate these RF emissions. I find using a WiFi network causes much less interference than a wired connection. In a few circumstances a wired connection is unavoidable and passing the cable through a suitable toroid may help as well as using an appropriate shielded Ethernet cable.

I have found the same website but i can't listen in. Why is that ? Thanks..
Hi Ellob - because of administrative reasons that has been blocked but it should be available again. I think you can try again (I am not the owner of this website nor the system btw, just an user)
Thank you for the video and the report ... De yi3whr
Nice video, thanks for the links.
you're welcome!
