Lentil recipes? W😢hat do we do with them other than soup? Also bean recipes other than Mexican. I love soup, but there has to be recipes other than soup. I was raised as a member of the clean plate club also. I am a big baloney fan. Interesting recipes with that also. I will try this recipe soon.

I go thru my spices and throw out anything that expired or is getting close to empty. I have just a few staple spices that I can’t leave without. The ones that are expired are usually the one that I don’t really use . Do you use a sweet or smoked paprika?

😊 i remember when I was young, ppl referring to bologna as " Kentucky Steak" I love a bologna sandwich with, believe it or not, on lightly toasted bread, PEPPER JACK cheese ,mayonnaise & lettuce, its a small step up from granny's bologna n cheese sandwich, i just may try this stew, I can see where it would be very tasty

I actually found pork bullion cubes in the international section of wally world. (Walmart) I think I paid like 1.50 for each pack of 6 cubes. My brother said you can get them for a buck at the Asian Food Store. They might taste good in your sausage jars. This is off topic but I know you have to sit down to cook because of health issues. I do as well but, I found that a walker that has 4 wheels and a seat on it lifts me up higher than a regular chair does. I've used bar stools as well but they got pretty hard to use once my hips and knees got real bad. I think you could find that walker at at a yard sale of thrift store. My brother in law got mine because someone wanted to throw it away. You might even be able to ask on Marketplace if anyone has one they are giving away or selling cheap. I would be lost without mine. Just a thought.

They took Grandriver Ave out from Detroit and then route 23 then over to old 27. They also had property in New Hudson. Gosh that was the good ole days. I’ll tell you possibly a crazy leftover turkey recipe that my children absolutely love. It’s so easy. Take some leftover turkey and mix it with cream of mushroom soup, put in your casserole dish, then top with crunchy Chinese noodles. Bake 350 till warm. Easy but it’s pretty good. We only have it once a year. Kids eat it up.

Everyone needs to make the hamburger seasoning blend, it is amazing!!! I made a jar for each of my local kids and they totally love it too. Good lists. I have a lot of it. But not as much as I would like. I have he turkey carcass in the roaster with some veggies. Guess what I'm canning tomorrow 🤪 have a happy Friday. Blessings friend ❤

I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving Kris. I celebrated my 78th birthday last week and feel very blessed to have my dear husband of 57 years, children and grandchildren. Like most people we have suffered the ups and downs in life, but to see the misery of those struggling to survive in war torn areas breaks my heart and I thank my blessings every day. God bless xx

Happy Thanksgiving Kris, Tom, Jack, and those I forgot!! (Oh can't forget the kitties either!! 🐈) 🍁 🍂 🦃 🍂 🍁 IDK if I should mention it, but generally I celebrate most holidays physically solo, but I don't eat alone. Since most of my fam is in SC or GA, with Aunt Cathy 3 hrs away, I'm here alone. However if nothing else C19 taught us that we can celebrate together via Video Call (Zoom). So our Zoom Dinner was at 2p - me & Uncle David joining in from NE Ohio and Aunt Cathy from Central Ohio with the Southern fam in person. So does that count as being "alone" for the holiday? lol
