Mabon is unfortunately an underappreciated sabbat. We tend to go all out for Beltane and Samhain. A good thing to remember is that Mabon doesn't have to be a big production to be worthwhile. BTW you have a wonderful energy about you and such very lovely eyes!

Meadowsweet grows along the burn at the bottom of my garden. I love it. The seed have swirls. Meadowsweet cordial is good and I want to try it in mead (I've made my first batch of mead this year, but without the meadowsweet, using a medieval recipe to see how it works).

Nice to meet you Emma. We share a middle name-it means "famous in battle." I know I was guided to your channel. I’ve recently adopted witchcraft as my primary spiritual practice though I’m still exploring just how that practice will unfold. I’m transitioning from organized religion and I’ve felt a desire to work with my ancestors. My last Reiki Master was also a Native American shaman and he made a staff for me with amazing and intricate engraving all over it. While I recognized some of the Reiki symbols, there’s more that I have no conscious memory of ever seeing. When I found my voice I said I didn’t know what most of the engravings meant, he responded, "Not now you don’t but you will when it’s time." He passed away 12 years ago but it’s just now, at the age of 64, that I’m starting to feel I’m finally coming into the purpose for which I incarnated this time. When I was a young adolescent, my psychic father perceived a symbol for me of a staff and to the right of it was a starburst. I had not told Leo anything about that symbol prior to him presenting me with that staff! Now that I have the staff, I’m looking for a gemstone orb that looks like a starburst. Yooperite is a possibility but it only lights up in the dark when a flashlight is shown on it. I’m also considering rutilated quartz or goldstone but I’d like suggestions if anyone has any ideas of a crystal or gemstone that looks like a starburst. It will be affixed to the staff with a secure resin base. All that to say in my Crone years, I’m seeing that all the varied experiences I’ve had seems to be leading me toward a leadership role of some kind. A friend and I will be attending a Mabon Market festival in Huntsville, Alabama. So looking forward to that! I also enjoy making a soup of sweet potatoes, onion,carrots, Northern white beans, kale as a base. I add some cinnamon, Chipotle, and ground cumin for flavor. Some fresh baked bread and butter to go with it...Yum!

All Great tips ! 🥰I go through stages with my crystals depending on how i am feeling. When i need to feel loved i tend to turn to Rhodochrosite and wear them on my neck , ears, fingers and wrists. When i need to feel protected i tend to go for Kyanite. I have felt overwhelm when handling too many different crystals like if i am just sitting at my altar and pick up a few at a time. I thought that was what was happening but wasn't sure so this is very helpful to information 😊Thank you 🧡🧡

😂😂 The gratitude part reminds me of the (American) Thanksgiving that my mother insisted we go around the table and say what we were most grateful for. She wasn't happy that my most grateful thing was the flush toilet and Dad's was toilet paper. She never tried that stupid activity again. Believe it or not, these two answers are amongst the top ten on most people's list. Gratitude should be private unless you are actually thanking a particular person. At least, that's how I see it. I don't believe in using black candles or clothes. I think the goal is to grow always into the light.

Rest and reflect, eat apples and making candles for the coming winter.

This year our themes are, of course, BALANCE and also UNITY. For Unity we must deepen our Compassion for others who seem different from us. We look into their souls a bit to see that they are doing the best they can. We invite them to join with us in Self-Love and Love of others, if only in ritual, if not in person. Hopefully this ritual will increase the Love that spins in our world. We embrace all people and spread very much needed Love. Blessed Be!

I feel that Sophia/Gaia is a living planetary being that is infused inside of us HumanKind. After 30 years living on this magnificent Hill, I feel that each of the minerals is a functioning part of Her. Hematite is Her blood, the quartz Her nervous system etc. Thank-you for teaching us more specific techniques to interface with Her! Cannibis is still my favorite herb for Mercury retro. I've been on omeprazole for many years for acid reflux but wanted to stop taking it. I've managed to stop gradually and meadowsweet tea has been my saviour! I'm literally obsessed with it right now ❤
