hi my xioami has a problem also when it charges the scooter however my light stays red for like a minute and then starts flashing red and green? What does that mean? Anyone can help?
I’ve had my scooter 7months.. I’ve done 960KM miles and 4 flat tyres so I changed to solids... today I charged and it had the green light on and was not charging... I squeezed the bottom of the charger and the light turned red... so the solid tyres are slowly damaging the scooter. Big regret... use slime and just be prepared to get the occasional puncture. Scooter will last longer.
My xiaomi only turns on if I have it charging for 1 sec at least. Then I start riding and it dies with any bumps on the road. When I get it going under no load( after plugging it to a charger) it runs great. Ideas? Battery voltage is at 40V at full charge. Thanks
Remove the battery to access all of the terminals and press on each terminal with the back end of a screwdriver with the power on. Resolder the one that makes a difference when you press on it
Hi everyone, I have received my scooter and it doesn't work at all since the beginning. I have never used it and it's brand new. It doesn't turn on in any way and the battery doesn't charge at all. The light on the charger remains green, it never turns red. I opened the bottom part and followed the instructions on this video and others I saw. When I plug in the wire to the battery, inside the battery I can see the red light flashing only 4 times. After 4 times it stops blinking. I saw the connections on the battery and they seemed well fused on it. No one is moving. What do you think it could be the problem? I thought about something about the battery that doesn't work properly. Can someone help me?
Had the same problem. I fixed my one by putting a bit of solder under the flap then putting a blob on top and while heating it up, holding down the flap with a tiny flat screwdriver.
Thats stupid, if I check the positive and neg posts on the side of my battery I get 41.4 volts, a new battery for what? I get 3.7 coming out of the circuit board though and that sux
Andrei I have the same problem the scooter charges but when it’s full the green light doesn’t show, but when I unplug and plug again it goes green it’s like it recognises then is this dangerous ? Will it over charge ? Thanks
Someone else at another RUclips battery problem video pointed to this forum (which is not in English): www.forocoches.com/foro/showthread.php?t=5452100&page=42#post258149478 I've also seen RUclips videos about a problem with the fuse. Seems an early batch of this scooter had some problems.
If you used credit card or PayPal then you can pull back cash. You may need to send item back with is about £60 with parcelmonkey. These scooters ate jinxed.
I should have added that these tabs are made of nickel which does not solder as easily as tin-plated copper. To get the solder to flow rather than blob, you can use additional flux to that which is incorporated in the solder wire. Products available at Maplin and many other electronics stores.
Adam, the problem must be with your soldered repair. It's clearly only making contact when you lift the tab. I suggest you melt the solder until you can raise the tab to about 45 degrees. Then remove all the existing solder with solder 'wick' and tin both surfaces to be soldered with fresh solder. And remember not to carry the solder to the tab on the soldering iron. Heat the tab until it is hot enough to melt the solder. Once both surfaces have a coating of solder and not a blob, then heat the tab again as you press down on the tab with a screwdriver or similar. You have what is known as a 'dry joint' that is not conducting electricity until you stress the tab with the knife. Good luck!

Boujour j'ai un problème avec ma trotinette elle s'allume pull mai elle s'allume que si je la change
Wasn’t this covered via warranty I’d send the battery back for replacement
I think it happened because you've changed your rear tire to solid tires which cause too much vibration.
Thanks so much

solved int his video": ruclips.net/video/2KI8IbMHPTc/видео.html
problem comes from the vibrations from hard tires, dont use them, use slime in normal tires instead for some puncture proofing.

stupid idea, why don't you lodge something like a paperclip under the metal tab then tape it with masking tape and see what happens.
