This was perfect. I'm sure this would be easy, I can sort of think about how you'd do it, but I don't really know the in's and out's, would you (or someone else) be able to tell me/make a tuorial on how to make this work in a menu and save? (I want to be abl;e to let the player make custom characters)
Whenever I pick up a weapon for a second time it doesn't actually pick anything up, but it thinks I have the weapon, any ideas on how to fix this?
So the armor definitely needs to be rigged properly to the character but does it need bones and animations of its own when imported or no? Trying to determine what I need to make in blender to import
Would this also work for shirts and pants and should I retarget the clothes before doing this?

@@officialrhythmicthoughts I think it had something to do with the Collision Visibility. But I changed his projectile system to LineTracing and I did not have that problem anymore.

I don't know why but my second (armor) skel. mesh is insensitive to montage animations (death anim etc)

So I have a question when I ads now after I switched my child actor it now slants it when I ads and I’ve been trying for hours to try and figure out how you where able to pick up the other gun that is not your current weapon and nothing is working so plz help me.

So I followed it step by step and my fox can go forward/back/left/right but the mesh doesn't seem to be running the animation assets when it moves! I've watched the video four times now and can't work out where I'm going wrong. I know this video is old but any advice/help would really be appreciated! :c

Did you apply skin weight on the armor first in your tools before importing it in unreal engine and this gonna work without bones setup and retargetting? Thank you
Using this method (the one where particles are not stuck on mesh), I can't get the particles to inherit bone velocity, even if I check "Inherit Bone Velocity" checked. Please tell me I don't need to make an array of every bone for that to work!

I'm working on sequencer and hive a character with multiple parts all use the same skeleton. I created blueprint to assemble the character and added a master pose component. The problem is they don't follow animation (except the master mesh) when added in the sequencer as I animate them. They only get animated during rendering. Is there a way to make them as if the were a single skeletal mesh in unreal and sequencer?

I need help, i am building a Topdown gamemode project and i want to replace the mannequin mesh with a character pack that i bought on the Unreal store. However when i do this, the character mesh that i bought doesnt have the head, instead it is seperate, I know why this is, but I want to know how to fix it (how do i link the head with the mesh)
