Thanks Peter... yes the race before this when I quit I don't usually do that and this race I thought about it as you do but came to my senses and plodded on of all places to crash he had to pick that .

When you think of it that is a plus point Mate. I don't seem to having any luck in this series like racing it but spend most time shouting at the screen

Yes Nick I just dont understand some drivers sometimes willing to give it all up for a daft overtake, I was having some fun for a change up to that point , anyways all forgot now on to the next one .

@SmithersSimRacing buddy, you should be pissed. You had a real shot at that W. Once you were around the lead Miata I'm sure he wouldn't have been able to keep up. I really do love the PCC. Once I tried the setup Im running on my Toyota I knew there was no going back to the fixed GR86 series (mostly I hate TC in that car). You will always hear drivers MF'ing each other on the radio but I kinda like all the inter class chaos. I think once you learn what to expect from the other cars it can inform your strategy on how to use them against your opponents. Also it probably helps I don't use the virtual mirror so it's harder for me to see the annoying headlight blinkers in my mirrors. Thank God they don't give the beemers horns

@@petermuravez do you do your own set ups Peter ? I have tried a few times but don't seem to get anywhere with them .

@@SmithersSimRacing not really. Mostly I will just fiddle with brake bias and turn down the aero. First thing I did with the gr86 was turn off the traction control. I'm lucky I got a hot setup for the Toyota on some discord server and I've been really happy with it.

@@erasenson5039 Thank you ... how long you been doing iRacing for ? yes it is harder go control but when you get used to it it's a great car to drive.

​@@SmithersSimRacing I've started around a month ago by setting up a rig in my living room. Like a decade ago I was casually driving in Live for Speed, Asetto Corsa and also have tried iRacing but I had a bad setup with loose pedals, wich killed the fun for me. After I realized I coul't do anything about it at that time, I just dumped my wheel into my storage. Watching simracing channels like yours really got me back to it.

@erasenson5039 I been doing sim racing for about a year and half I used to play Asetto corsa alot but got into iRacing about a year ago, I like iRacing for the skill matchmaking but not the money you have to pay for content, so have you sorted your peddles now ? What's your set up?

@@SmithersSimRacing Yeah iRacing comes with a lot to pay for. But I'ts also very unique in what it offers. At least for right now I'm good with the rookie content. I'm not sure where to go further but I think I might stick to road cars or some GT class. In In the past I had my T300 clamped on the table with the pedals positioned loose on the ground. Back at that time I got the basic Fanatec loadcell pedals and applying braking pressure would often move the whole pedalset, wich was throwing me off while driving. Now I am using a simlab P1X pro with a tripple 32" setup and I have to say it makes a huge difference in having a dedicated and sturdy sitting position. I have mounted the simagic P1000 pedals with a couple of upgrades out of the box and their DS-8 Shifter. For the wheelbase I am still on my good old thrustmaster T300. Looking forward to upgrade to probably a simagic directdrive in a couple of months. What setup are you using? Btw. I can see your one and a half year iRacing experience right away just from watching the BMW M2 racing footage.

@@erasenson5039 I have done the GT3 class a lot and find that you loose a lot of SR/IR with how many idiots are in the Ferrari Challenge. My set up is a Moza R9 with the SR-P Pedals and triple Asus 27" monitors, I have just put up my first race of the season in the BMW .

@@petermuravez yes I agree Peter great that they gave it away for free, also I am loving it at the minute but let's see what happened when I try it in the new season.

Thanks Nick yes it like bumper cars this series don't know why people or so impatient, best thing is they have a right moan when they go off blame everyone else but Emily love kicked of with others about their driving when she got taken out at the chicane and she still did a bad re-join and gave me 4 X

@ Ha. Yeah sounds like the majority of PCC drivers. I’ve noticed lately there’s been a lot of shouting and bad driving, more than normal. I’ve raced with Emily a few times, but it’s always been close fair racing. Maybe she just lost her head

@@nock-racing yea probably it was just funny to see her kick off a tother drivers and do some stupid re-join.

@@nock-racing your not Wrong Nick very hard to overtake and you mentioned Josh I had a word with him after the race about that and his reply was THATS RACING, I said to him yea but you where blocking and he said he made a move across me and then got back on racing line where he blocked me again, I said well all I can say is it was not very sportsmanship of you to block like you did .

@SmithersSimRacing I haven't raced it in forever but a couple weeks ago I ran it at Tsukuba for a SR grind. Definitely a fun little car. You sure got a handle on it

Cheers Nick. I don't think he was bothered what happened in the race he must have been in nearly all incidents 14 IP`s he had mate. I must say I had to be quick in that race to avoid the carnage at the end I had 12 IP`s not one my fault 8 in race and got 4 after race

Your not wrong Peter its like most think its a one lap race

Much apricated that Nick.. like I was saying to Peter you spend more time watching them then the race, also that sounds like a good point that mate with the connection warning, if only it would make the racing a lot better because lately it seems to be happening a lot of the time.

Thanks Nick, I love driving this car and the Vee too 😀 I seem to have more fun with them and a lot more close races, I did a F4 at Spa yesterday and got absolutely battered on the first lap everybody thinks its a one lap race in them car

@@SmithersSimRacing well let’s put it this way. I’ve been trying to record this week’s episode. I’ve had 3 attempts and I’m yet to get a full race because of one thing or another 😩

you know what Peter all the way through that race that blinker was recking my head was so happy when he went

@@SmithersSimRacing sometimes it's so bad I want to Venmo them some cash so they can upgrade their Internet plan. I got taken out today by a blinker who missed his braking point going into the corkscrew

@@petermuravez yes it's so distracting and what happeneds is you end up concentrating on them that much you mess up .

@@SmithersSimRacing Calculated risks are a big part of life in today's world my friend.. you need to be brave and never make a decision based on fear.. best advice I ever heard.. failing is a good thing as long ascwe learn from it.. that's how we grow and find our path.. 😊👍

Yes that`s what I said to the idiot on the night. Could not believe he said it lol.

I try my best to keep out of trouble but its not that easy with a lot of drivers out there, most think its a race on first lap lol.

totally agree Jesus just getting into the F4 but I loose a lot of safety rating and not my fault which is not doing me any good

@@SmithersSimRacing F4 are a "survivor races"... last week same happened to me on tsukuba, i was 1º and behind someone block brakes and destroyed my car, -0.20 sr and -100 IR

@@Jesus-sz7wj I find I need to start at tye back on the F4 races because there is so much trouble on the first lap people just sending it into corners
