This show was special. Matthew Shipp and Newman Taylor Baker are absolutely incredible. Mr. Baker’s touch on the drums was felt in my heart. I love the way he played within the rhythmatic structures gently and with attention. Matthew Shipp is still currently my favorite living pianist. Love this gentleman’s great work. It is an honor to have heard him last evening.
