At least the right car doesn’t have the voice…

I finally made it over here to ride these lovely things, and they’re just as bad as always. The banging door clutch is quite worrying.

These ones run better than the other garage, but they are still extremely unpleasant to ride. Both cars reek of cigar smoke, and the floor passing beeps are horribly loud.

This is the newer elevator that was added on near the theater. It is less busy than the other one and has a better motor.

This is a nice install with some weird features. I don't know why floor 1A is necessary and the voice doesn't really work as intended.

Happy birthday @Jowevator3219 ! This one runs perfectly. It also has working bells, which seems to be rare on a-series fixtures nowadays.

There are many videos of these walkways on YT, but surprisingly no elevator/escalator enthusiasts have documented this rare installation until now. It is already a rare model and this set is also one of the oldest examples still in service having been opened in 1978. This building was formerly Kunkel Hall, home of the biology department. After being vacant for 5 years and fully renovated, It is now home to the economics department, which carried the name of their old building over to this one. This elevator completely replaced an Otis black-button hydraulic elevator in the same shaft, which explains why it is narrower than normal.

This one has the one-of-a-kind “studio” fixtures. It’s such a cool design and I wish TK installed more of them. Other than that, it’s a typical 2010s Synergy with loud brakes and a loud door operator, although it’s pretty rare to see one only serving 3.5 floors.

This is the original elevator. It looks like an older generic that got a slap-on mod. The fixtures are innovation, but some buttons were replaced with TK traditional.

These are fantastic! They run just like new and the fixtures are still in good condition. This is the first time I've ridden a traction with Vector fixtures in over a decade since all the ones in my hometown got modded.

These are a little glitchy, but otherwise in great condition! This building is really cool too.
