My grandmother is from St. Lucia and I remember baking St. Lucian bread growing up. She has passed a few years now but these are the memories I cling too. This video brought me joy seeing the bread in the same shape like my grandmom used to make them.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I will never forget this event, "Greasy Pole" in St. Lucia 🇱🇨. I ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 I remember 53 years ago I was in that Soufriere 🌊 girl's swimming competition . Maybe I was around 12 years old. We had to swim 🏊‍♀️ 🤪 to go around the pier and back to land. I remember fully I was leading the race when one of the girls pulled my leg 🦵 down and went ahead of me. So I stopped ✋️ and didn't continue 🙃. I must say you all bought some memories back to my life. I really must plan a trip to St. Lucia 🇱🇨 my birth town, Soufriere, by Allah's grace, blessings, guidance, and protection. Wow 👌 I really enjoyed watching 👀 this event from Tallahassee, Florida.
