You literally just saved my life. I had this project at school where you have to make a gym game and i had no idea how to do it. Thank you soooooooooooooooooo (infinity number of o's) much. I liked and subscribed!
Thank you for the video.
Hello, there. Thank you for the video. It sure helps a lot. But I have a question. How is the game actually played? I mean, not the rules, but how can I do it in a remote class of twenty students, using Google Meet, for example? Hope I made myself clear. And thanx again.
Hi Marcus! Thanks for the comment - it's a good one! When using Google Meet, you could share the tab you have the Genially open on with the students using the option "Share Chrome Tab". All you have to do is click on the dice video and it will stop on a number. Then you move those number of squares and hover over the question for the student to read out. If your group of students are well-behaved, you could even put one student in charge of sharing and controlling the board, instead of you (the teacher). Another idea could be that you organise them into groups of 4. You explain the class with the whole group in one Meet. Then, you send out invitations to different Meets for each group, and appoint one student from each group to share their tab with the game. As you created the Meets, you control who enters each one and you can pop into each group to keep an eye on them. Of course, this involves a high amount of autonomy from the students, but that means that at the end of the activity students can self-reflect on their actions and possibly learn something from the experience... I hope this has been helpful to you! Write back if I'm speaking Gobbledygook! :D
