I never liked them together in fact in an interview Paul said the despised each other during the first 5 episodes. It’s a wonder I didn’t like the chemistry Nina and Ian were much more believable and low and behold they became a real beautiful couple.

As someone who lost 10 years to addiction - his portrayal of an addict was so on point that I cannot put words to properly express it. I wish there was an interview where he discusses addiction and whether or not he did any research or anything on that aspect of the role.
