I have always loved visiting The Getty Center! My personal favorite spot was The Cactus Garden which had views of West L.A. But seriously, as mentioned there are really no bad views from there and even though some serious walking is involved, it is absolutely well worth the effort! I myself am not a fan of heights as in looking down. I'm okay if I keep my gaze focused straight out and around...just not down. BUT...I'll stand in line for hours to ride a Roller Coaster Ride all day long! 🤣 Beautiful architect, gardens, fountains, paintings and sculptures! Did anyone notice how few birds are around that area? Was like that when I was there the last time. Must have to do with their bathroom manners!😉🙃 Moo From COW-lumbus, Ohio 👋

This was so sweet and lovely! Thoughtful friends and being able to share with Family! This truly Set The Bar for future Birthdays. We all remember ours and some stand out more but this will be the Mountain Top! I just celebrated my Candle day this past Dec.5th and LOVED adding another Candle to my Cake Of Life. Many others get sad and depressed thinking of getting older and I say Nonsense! EVERY Birthday means we have survived another year to be loved by Family and Friends and to love them back. I want as many Candles as I can get because with each Candle is another year of memories to hold onto when the physical presents vanish from time. Very pretty and scenic ride! To me it really shows a part of my childhood too. As I mentioned before, Dad was a USAF Pilot and when I was born we lived in Riverside, Ca. and much of that area is similar to where this tram is. I still siblings, cousins and other family members up and down the Southern Cali Coast....but rides like this take me back to my childhood in Riverside! The Getty Center really put Brentwood on the map as it was known for pretty much Hollywood estates of famous people until it opened in 1997! Hope yo uall had a swell time! What a neat place to see! So much to see and limited time too! It's the kind of place that you really need at least two days just to take everything in. My Dad was a 30 year USAF Officer and Pilot. He was in Flight school with Gus Grissom, who was one of the Original 7 Astronauts picked by NASA in the beginning. So The Space Program has always been a part of my life and my family as well. heck, the very first person on The Moon was from Wapakoneta, Ohio! Really very cool having those "hands on exhibits" too! I immediately started to drool as Macarons was shown and mentioned....Oh how I love macarons! The ONLY thing better to me are Macedonian Nuts. My Dad was a 30 year Career Officer in The USAF with 20 of those years as a Pilot. One of his "Tours" was when we got to love on Hickam AFB on Oahu, Hawaii and us kids got introduced to the Hawaiian Culture AND foods! The one food I could not get use to was Poi as this is an acquired taste to be sure! Hoping the City Walk was fun and didn't "break the bank" as that place can be so pricy! Cha-Ching! Very cool ride for kids AND adult kids! The ending was perfect too....getting set up for the Kibosh Fast Exit! I'm a Roller Coaster Geek and will ride them all Day Long even if there are long lines! I just can't handle those rides that feel like you are in a Washing Machine that goes through all the cycles of Spinning and adjuvating at the same time!
