I heard in interviews that Nathan and Elizabeth are end game too. In a interview, I saw writer Elizabeth Stuart called Nathan and Elizabeth destiny. I like Chris McNally's role for Lucas being governor though. Lucas is still on the show. I have heard talk, but it might just be rumors that Chris wants to start a new mystery series on the Hallmark Mystery Channel. I've read about a movie that Chris is about to star in. That they want to try and make a series from a movie he making. So, if true let's all support Chris McNally. If this is true however, the writing team for WCTH may have made the switch for Elizabeth to be with Nathan in order to let Chris have more time for another show and WCTH would bring back governor Lucas who was living in Capital City back to Hope Valley to visit everyone when Chris McNally's available for S12. If this rumor is true Chris wouldn't be available to the show full-time. He would come back part-time when his schedule allows. So, then we would understand why the writers made Lucas governor. Remember after Jack died WCTH promised to never kill off a main character like that again. So now Elizabeth would have a new love interest in Nathan since both Erin and Kevin are committed to WCTH full-time.

@@lindsayeichorn3098 I actually watched this video and read comments to see how team Lucas was feeling. I always wanted to see Elizabeth date both men. So, I'm not as upset by the break up as alot of team Lucas fans. I want to see Nathan and Elizabeth's relationship together and see where it goes. I actually think Chris and Kevin are both good actors. I think both Nathan and Lucas are good guys. They were just both interested in Elizabeth. I like Lucas as governor. Some of my favorite scenes, which were few were when Nathan and Lucas were working together. I liked seeing Nathan and Lucas working together with Elizabeth to take down Mr. Higgins. In S6 Nathan and Lucas worked together to take down people that were after Lucas and Elizabeth was in the middle of it and in danger. As far as the love triangle went I personally think the writers should have had Elizabeth date both Lucas and Nathan back in S7 & S8. The show took a different direction and had Elizabeth reject Nathan in S8. That upset many team Nathan fans who saw chemistry between Nathan and Elizabeth. All those looks they gave each other team Nathan is convinced there is something there more than just friendship. Now the writers have upset team Lucas in S10 because they were expecting a wedding and now S11 Nathan and Elizabeth are getting together as a couple. I just feel the writers could have handled things better. Instead the direction they took upset both teams at some point in the seasons. But I did want to tell team Lucas about the mystery movie with Chris and a possible series. I hope it true and not just a rumor about the series. I thought that might make them feel better. I would like to see hearties come together. Hearties were a strong community before with S1-S5 I feel like the triangle caused division. So the hearties community hasn't been the same in S6-S11. I would like to see hearties come together again.

I feel that was because Steve and Laura had history for the record Steve may have been a a nuisance but underneath that he was a true friend towards her and her family, he was always there for Laura I mean there's so many moments with them but I've remember the time when Steve was there for her in the Black History episode who was right by her side Steve Ukel where was Stefan at in all of that no where, in the Home coming episode even though Laura wanted to go to the Home coming dance with someone else even though she but she dance with Steve Ukel and again where was Stefan he was no where in the picture. So again Steve and Laura had history there were others moments between them Steve and Laura were friends first but Steve was heads Overhills inlove with Laura and even though Laura had never loved Steve in that way until later they still had a bond that even her and Stefan had never had and that's why she picked Steve over Stefan in a way Stefan wasn't real but Steve was.

they great chemistry, which was shown when he tried out for the nathan part, he was instantly given the role of nathan, and they haven't looked back, the first day i saw them together i felt the chemistry, and it only grew from therre, i have to speak up for him because he isn't just a guy wearing a mountie serge, he is a strong individual, loyal, honest with a deepness that many quieter men have, and when they finally do bring their love to the surface for all to see, we will be very satisfied.

​​​@@barbaraontheedge5494 Everyone has their own opinion & unfortunately, I just cannot see anything you described in Nathan. I love Kevin as an actor, but just cannot get on board with his character as Nathan. His character as Peter in the Wedding Veil was a lot like Nathan, just plain & kind of blah. His 2023 Christmas movie, Checkin' it Twice, was great. I'm planning on purchasing that when it's out for sale. Wish Kevin played Nathan more like this character. (I think his name was Peter in this movie too)
