Isn’t 1/1+x^2 is the derivative of arctan(x) wich means you can already tell the answer is arctan(x)+C where +C is the constant of integration
That was so amazing! The fact that I understood what you were saying was just amazing. Thank you so much. This was the first video from you that I watched. I'll be sure to watch plenty more. I immediately added my subscription so looking forward for more fantastic videos! Thank you so much again
Sometimes these questions requires you to work out how many of total possible outcomes !
this better not come up
Just use a pen and paper
Why did yu stop uploading?
Repent from your sins and turn to Jesus,Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life
You explain even the trickiest topics so clearly.
but how do we know that we are allowed to leave it as r? was there more info in the question or is it just a convention of the exam board. i feel like normally you can only use the predefined variables.
why are you called AI tutor?
It’s -csc^2(x)
“I wasn’t going for an A*, I was going for full marks” definition of aura
That has to be the one time they had to round a percentage down instead of up to the nearest whole number 😂
Maths question with no numbers💀
Bro how do you talk so fast😂
31:30 heard a bit a Indian come out 😂😂
Also for the first question could you also say that in c also how much hours the student studies/ prepares for the test and not just sleep
Great gob
Thank you for making these, now I can do some practice in the year 12 holidays and still keep my skills for year 13
Helpful
41:46 cheers mate 👍
I’ve always wondered: where does + pi*n disappear? When we are solving sin(x) = a, x = arctan(a) + pi*n
I'll be honest - I am surprised I got predicted such a low GCSE grade for maths (I was COVID year) after reminiscing today and checking the grade boundaries, it was literally 64% for an 8, and if I recall correctly I got "given" a 6 on my GCSEs 😂then in my official A-Levels I got 4 A*s, and am now doing CS achieving a 92.4% grade average after 1st and 2nd year! After doing this question with no sweat, it solidified the fact that I should have not got a 6!😅 My GCSE grades were quite poor, 1x8, 3x7, 2x6, 2x5 and 1x4 - I didn't get a single 9, even in CS after averaging 95%+, honestly after receiving those grades that was a tough time, then my A-Level predicted grades didn't go as planned either, I got predicted A*ABB, but actually got A*A*A*A*, it is honestly incredible how some schools underpredict so much, but other schools overpredict, I would have thought the incentive would be to overpredict for a better reputation for getting your students into more prestigious universities.
good video but it would be helpful if we could see the questions too
thank you so much !!
About to do a end of year so hopefully some of the questions are from this paper😂
Crazy how much more understanding you gain from this video compared to the marks scheme. thankyou
bro you could have just found the cartesian equation of the curve and equated it to the equation of the tangent and used the discriminant/shown that 3 was the only solution for the quadratic. You made a right mess of this lmao.
Very useful video thank you :)
I don't understand part f) of q 3. for Thomas, the probability of gettting your FIRST dart on target increases, how does that show his probability that a dart hits the target increases? Thanks
I think it's getting at the fact that it's modelled as the alpha being added each time, that's what Thomas deduced and think about a person shooting a ball into a net that is far away and give them 5 attempts, in each attempt the person may adjust their shots hence increasing the likelihood of scoring. Hope that helps!
IM COOKED
For 8 ii why can't you use the arithmatic series equation with the first and last term?
I am cooked seasoned burned finished marinated finished 💀
why is he called AI tutor, is his name allen iverson or is he just an actual AI
hi thanks so much for this video, I was wondering if you could make some more worked solutions for AS Edexcel papers as I find your videos very helpful!
come back!
Let’s go I got both of them right
Nice work ❤
Why can't you just integrate between 0 and x1 with y= 5sin(4x) for A1, and then between x1 and a for y= 4cos(2x), then add the areas
thank you so so much this really helped!!!
I HATE how we can sometimes freestyle in maths because wdym you can times cos and divide cos at 1:21:40 😂 😭
Isn’t the algebraic fraction in question 11 improper so don’t you use algebraic division first?
Need to make a return man
SO HELPFUL what a legend
For question 11, why cant u use the power rule? (my backup plan after not knowing how to use the logs) [a^x differentiates to ln(a)a^x] So i thought u could say dy/dx =ln(x)x^x Therefore x =1 because ln(1) = 0. Its incorrect but idk why
i think it's because a is a constant whereas x is a variable
@@medievalrat324 true thank u!
@@wippo42 good luck tmrw!!
@@medievalrat324 u too
why is question 10 c in radians ?
I think a much more elegant solution is as follows: Both particles have the same (downwards) acceleration, and thus both particles velocity changes by the same value in the same time interval. Thus the relative velocity (approach speed) between the particles is constant, and to begin with this is 23m/s so it remains 23m/s. The gap between them, 72m decreases at this speed. Thus using time = distance/speed, we get t = 72/23 = 3.13s as the collision time. We can then just work out the distance the top particle fell during this time: s = ut + 0.5at^2 = 6(3.13) + 0.5*(9.8)(3.13)^2 = 67m as required.
uh uh uhhhh
thank you for these videos, have helped me so much ❤
For question 8b, why can't you just integrate between 2 and 0?
Can you please add more videos. For A level maths? why have you stopped. I like your explanations better than my teacher. Please add some topics and edexcel exam papers.
