What size tip did you use? When I use a 310fflp with 100mesh filter and water down about 10% my tip clogs a lot still. Any tips?
@@Di16460 it’s 210 tip, i use 200 in a machine and 150 in a gun. Sometimes still clogs a lot specially with Dulux primer , main thing to rinse machine properly before use.
What undercoat/primer do you prefer to use?

what do you use dulux primer or UC? I used the quick drying UC the other day it was good only problems it dried weird on the filler and runs but the finish looked good. Not sanded yet. The 2in1 uc and primer was decent but clogs up so much so stringy

Did you chance gun filter when using smaller tip?
I do change both filters/200 in a machine, 100/150-gun
Why my 390 gun cant spray out when using 210 or 310 tips, 514 is ok? Any advice? 😢

I prefer with cable 110 or 230v , on buttery is not pressure. especially for the first hand, there you need a lot of pressure to be able to finish 2 houses a day minimum, otherwise you won't even get a day's work money.
So do you undercoat and gloss after your final coat
What tip did you use and pressure roughly?
Do you just use water based paint? Just got one for on site for mistcoats but wondering what else I could do. What primer is that you use?

Why wasn’t the door removed prior to save spraying the wall and floor? Messy.
Because the door is being primed before the walls get sprayed and that floor has plastic protection on it that gets removed on the build clean. I don't know where you're from, but that's how we have to do it on uk building sites. All part of the process and nothing messy once completed.
Also, we work on a price per job and nobody is taking doors off. Nobody.

What masking tape are you using for your hinges ?
Just normal masking tape 2 inch
At least your sandong mate. The new build sites in scotland are shockingly bad. Big companies like Bell group and Mitie dont sand anything.
I know mate, i feel sorry for people buying new build homes looking like needs refurbishing 🤦it’s like buying brand new car with scratches all over it 🤷♂️
Prices are shocking as well, I’m getting exactly the same as 6 years ago 😫luckily i can use sprayer on all sites .

Hi, it depends on site spec, in this case Crown/acrylic primer undercoat, 210 spray tip.

How do you know when they're worn? Is there excess dripping? I have a compact and its getting on a bit in terms of how many gallons its sprayed, would like to know what to look out for. 👍
Well normally its not holding pressure and keep going non stop.basically you can’t spray anymore 😉

I bet if you looked at that door through your eyes and not through a camera you would see a lot of orange peel affect! Wrong tip and strange technique

Can’t spray acrylic through my 390 using an fflp 210, and can’t spray emulsion through and lp 617 but can with an lp 517, any ideas
What you mean by saying can’t spray? What’s the problem?
When I saw him spraying hinges, I was just waiting to hear the radio blasting some sweet, mariachi music, and I wasn’t disappointed at the end
Hey, i think your videos are great. I've just entered the spray world and as im renovsting a 5 bedroom house i boight at auction. Clearly I statted out thinking i was doing graffiti so thanks for this video showing a simple technique haha. How much should I water down contract emulsion for the mist coat when spraying please?
Hi, normally it’s says on a emulsion spec. But I would say 10-20% depending on surface and type of emulsion. Thanks
You don't have to backroll the prime coat! Good drywallers don't burn the paper.
