Assalamalaykum brothers, it’s beautiful seeing the Masjid Al Haram through your videos. I just wanted to clarify for those who haven’t performed Umrah before, when you say you can’t be near the Kaa’ba without being in the state of Ihram, that isn’t entirely correct. You can still perform tawaf, the condition is Wudu. I think you were trying to say to be in the Mataf you need to be in the state of Ihram. JazakAllah Khair may Allah SWT bless and honour you all.

For someone who has never visited Umrah, this provided such an incredible insight into what it’s like. I can’t wait to visit, In Sha Allah. The information shared was also excellent. It didn’t just focus on the actual performance of Umrah but also highlighted the brotherhood experienced there and activities such as quad biking and camel riding. The concept is beautiful, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a documentary about Umrah before. It was truly exceptional and felt like I was there. A big thanks to the brothers for being genuine and sharing their thoughts and opinions. May Allah strengthen them in faith. The documentary had a bit of everything. I particularly loved the story of the brother who took his shahada, it’s always so heartwarming to hear such stories. May Allah accept from all reverts. The ease with which people there converse with strangers on the streets is remarkable that’s what Islam is about: an ummah, a community of respect and love for all people regardless of origin. The air there seems so peaceful and welcoming. This made me look forward to visiting even more. I also loved the references to our beloved Prophet ﷺ, and the way the brother described the feeling of being there was so moving. It was wonderful to see that the documentary covered various aspects, not just the usual sights. For instance, the advice on handling beggars and showing examples of fake stories they may tell was invaluable. It’s easy to be fooled in a spiritually uplifting place like Madinah, where your heart is inclined to help others. It’s truly saddening to see people exploiting this. I appreciated that they didn’t shy away from showing the less pleasant experiences, like the juice shop where they didn’t receive the best treatment. Including historical stories of Islam was another great addition, offering deeper insight. Overall, the structure of the documentary was excellent, covering several important and interesting aspects. I especially loved the reminder near the end about the importance of remembering Allah and making dua these reminders are so crucial for the ummah. Jazakum Allah khairan for this beautiful documentary. May Allah grant us all the opportunity to perform Umrah and experience this life-changing journey.
