More on Pressure with Micro:bit
This video deals with topics such as air pressure in flowing air, the relationship between pressure and volume and between pressure and temperature. An Envirobit and a BMP-280 sensor are used for the measurements. In order to connect this sensor to the Micro:bit, a breakout board and various small test leads must be used. To demonstrate Boyle-Mariotte's law, a strong plastic syringe must be used. The measurements are displayed both by help of LEDs, by using 4 extra Micro:bits and as graphs in a spreadsheet.

Brilliant - this is just exactly what I was looking for!
that's a cost effective and great idea, thank you for sharing. Can you also share which df library have you used?
Thank you for your kind comment. At 4:50 you can see how to find the DF-extension.
Thank you for sharing such a detailed video on how to do this with microbit!
Thank you for your kind comment 🙏
Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you.
Great!
What battery and speaker you used?
The battery is inside the Wukong expansionboard. In this case I have used a 150 ohm speaker. But an 8 ohm speaker will also work.
Congratulations. It is a wonderful project.
Thank you very much 🙏
Great. I just discovered micro:bit about 2 months ago and now I find ur videos. Love em. Just sub'd. 👏👏👏

whats the wire caalled
Ved 0:21 er der en fejl. Jeg burde have sagt, at 760 mm kviksølv svarer til 1013 millibar.
At 0:21 there is at mistake. I should have said that 760 millimeters of mercury equals to 1013 millibars
Hello Dirk. Thank you very much for your comment - it made me happy. Grüße aus Vejle.
Hello Gunnar, really explained very well. It's nice that you explain the physics behind it. As a teacher, I will integrate your videos into my school lessons. It's the best thing I could find on RUclips about the Microbit. Grüße aus Stuttgart, Dirk

That is amazing. Thanks very much for sharing this. Would it be too much to ask if you would have the Lego parts numbers or code parts? Many thanks in advance.
Thank you very much for your comment 🙂 The Lego Mindstorms Education 9797 is no longer available so it would be an idea with the part numbers. I'm sorry that I can't give you the numbers - I have no longer the Mindstorm set. Sir, why the angle is 115 degree for 1023, but not 135? (90+45=135)
Theoretically it should be 135. But 115 has turned out to work better. It has to do with how the gears fit to each others.
@@gunnarlund6633 thank you sir

Why is the value of 300 used in the following line of code? 'if (Read == 0 && pins.analogReadPin(AnalogPin.P0) > 300)' How does 300 relate to the analog value of the sensor? I guess what I'm asking is, what is the 300 referring to (time? light sensitivity? etc)? Thank you.
It refers to how much of the infrared light there is reflected from the object passing bye. The value is found by help of experiments. The highest value that P0 can have is 1023.
Well done, Gunnar ! Happy that you have shared this video .
Thank you very much!
I like it.
Thank you Gunnar how do i read the voltage of a 3,7 V battery package via the microbit if i try i dont get an exact reading any suggestions ?
I don't think that the Micro:bit can handle a voltage of more than 3 V - and may be you will ruin it. If you have two resistors of the same value, you can connect them in series and to the voltage. Then you can measure the voltage over one of them with the Micro:bit and multiply the result by two.
@@gunnarlund6633 Okey thanks any idea what kind of resistors i need ? i am not an expert at this.
@@jurrevanderwerff3800 Try with something between 1 k ohm and 10 k ohm. We are talking about a voltage divider - which you can learn more about by help of Google.
@@gunnarlund6633 okey so two resistors in serie to get around 3 V so the microbit can read the value

Hi Dave. Thank you very much for your comment - sorry for the lemon ;-)
Tak! Jeg er selv imponeret over at bierne i løbet af natten sætter sig på indersiden af “osteklokken”, som er uden bund.
Imponerende!
Takk for videoen! Er der en måde du kan gøre det samme med et hundehalsbånd, der registrerer gøen og reagerer med en ultralyd for at forsøge at forhindre hunden i at gø?
Tak for din hilsen.
Great explanation. Love this circuit.
