The Bible says bad company corrupts. I have a question. My sister acted with verbal violence, and unless I agree with committing idolatry, she doesn´t stop. I already forgave her, but stayed away. Does reconnciliation mean that I need to be talking to her, or is just saying I forgive her and continue with my life enough? This extra information may help you to give me a better answer. I am not someone who talks with many people. I am the kind of person who likes to be alone, so it is not only with her that I don´t talk, but in some way I want to avoid more violence from her, and I will not commit idolatry. Can I stay away from her, or does reconciliation mean that I need to be talking to her? And if your answer is that I need to talk to her, then how am I supposed to do that? Imagine having someone almost always yell at you, and some of the things that person wants are that you commit idolatry. I don´t know what I'm supposed to do. I will appreciate any advice.

hey i had a question, do you really think you have to be reconciled and hang out with someone again that doesn’t really do the will of God and leads you astray from his path? i mean forgiving is easy for me but I think the reconciliation part was for your brothers and sisters in Christ
