Afterthought to sci-fi lovers. Can you imagine a world, any world, that could exist without emotions? Needs, desires, urges, wants, loves, hates. Why bother opening your eyes and/or moving if there is no reason to? Therefore; are emotions a fundamental part of civilisation as we know it? Your thoughts please? Jeff

Consider the implications of a world without emotions, a world without any particular emotion and how much of our lives are directed and controlled by them. 30:00 I begin to realise that this story is reminding me that without emotions, specifically love, creating children would only be the result of sex! Rabbits produce many offspring but is that out of love? Or just the enjoyment of sex? Without love, would children be allowed to starve, never being more than a baby before life ended? well, one point I see is for a visual referance, the image needs to be what you are talking about. And this doesn't seem to be 30ft women, like at all. Then there's the enviorment there in. it's a forest not a desert.

im a big fan of happy endings, but this made no sense. how did she survive? why hide the fact that she was alive? (maybe to act as a symbol be a martyr without actually dying?) maybe she faked her own death so she could help catch the conspirators? either way, the ending sucks without an explanation of how she survived and why she let him think she died.
