I’m going to watch AAA just to see how bad it is. I’ve been recommended shows in the past that I’ve been told are good but, were absolute garbage so I don’t have time for tv shows anymore. It might be more entertaining to see a show that’s so bad it might actually be good.

Maybe the effects are comparable to the effects in the 80's like the 80's slumber party they had. Glad to see you own your wrongness though. Great episode guys. Nate has been selling me on Rings of Power (I started but fell of) I am not caring for Ghost anymore and you guys are definitely not selling it (again, I fell off) AAA is seems to be a quirky/witchy buddy supernatural "murder" mystery? It is juggling a lot but I think by the end of the show all will be revealed like WandaVision and I also agree with Merv, sometimes it is difficult to use your time to watch a film that is getting panned, but you also want to support the cinema. Maybe I'll watch Transformers. The Penguin is how you keep the comic book genre alive. It's really good.

I'm actually witchfolk, and i like it. It funny and a nice mockery of stereotypes, plus why it import to hone and master you skill set.

None of this is new, Agatha was in a least one of the cartoon series and some of the comics. Billy/Wiccan is a character that has been around for 10+ years. Marvel is finally rolling out the set up for the new avengers. I love everything about Agatha all along. I don’t think it’s meant to get more than one season just like Wanda vision. But it’s a great way to introduce these “new” characters into the movies.

I LOVED the 3 first episodes. All of my friends like it too. If you don't like it that's ok. There are a lot of other Marvel shows that you could watch and enjoy. No need to hate on something that other people like.

Maybe you should explain why you didn't like it, not just that it reminded you of Charmed. And if it did remind you of Charmed, so? Saying it should be cancelled is a bit much especially if you cannot break down as to why you didn't like it. I'm quite enjoying it actually...so let's discuss!

I did not listen to all this but coming back to it today and Rich I FULLY involved. GotT has captured him differently. A totally different type of beast for real. Loved that fresh passion for the show. I ain't gonna lie, I went back to the episode HardHome, jheeze!

Apparently, they flew through the final season of GoT so they could go onto another project which they ultimately did not end up doing in the end (along with budgetary reasons and running out story because the books have not been completed). I want to say it was a Star Wars project but i cannot remember without trying to google it.

Not even close. True, nothing really happens in either show, but House of the Dragon has great characters and good acting.

Top 10 - Narcos - I am not 100% sure if I have started it but I heard it was a really good show! I want to say I got to season 2 but fell off. I know it was a loved show but I do not remember if I am honest. - The Walking Dead - I fell off shortly after Carl died, got back onto it but fell off again. I need to get back onto it, but with all the spin offs, it starting to become a bit daugnting to achieve. I agree with Kels. 9 - Ozark - I cannot remember who said it, but yes, very much like a Breaking Bad but "colder". It had a cold hue to the show and the characters were ruthless. I loved the show due to it's storytelling and drama. The wife got on my nerves just like Skyler, but not as bad as Skyler. 8 - Lost - Never watched this although I kept hearing about it, but then how the ending was trash - Breaking Bad - Probably one of the only shows or one of the first shows I have ever clapped to once it ended. Up there with the greats and while it was a slog sometimes, the pay-off was great. A Mid-life crises told in a great way with superb acting from all. 7 - The Watchmen - The watchmen was excellent. Different to the film but it was a welcomed change or adaptation from the comics. The fact the blue guy (can't remember his name) was played by a black person threw me for a moment but all that history and storytelling including real life black history was superb. I wish more shows highlight the atrocities of man especial towards poc. - The Sopranos - Not seen 6 - Prison Break - Not seen 5 - Friends - Seen bits but not religiously. Never really grabbed me. 4 - Line of Duty - I actually started this THIS YEAR! I'm still yet to bloody finish it as I was on holiday and not all of the episodes downloaded. Gripping and very interesting. I understand why it gripped the nation during the pandemic. Notany British TV shows are this gripping. 3 - The Wire - Sigh. Started. Got to the second season. Stopped. Found it brilliant, but I fell off and need to get back onto it as it is meant to be one of the best TV shows ever and I can see why from the first season, but I just need to finish it. 2 - Heroes - They tried to bring this back but it felt forced and relied too much on nostalgia. This show was excellent. Man like Peter and his brother Adrian. It got a little wild after a time and the writers strike messed it up. The last season was not great, but if this was redone/retold/reimagined for now...or even turned into an anime, I'd welcome it as it was really good and had great potential. May even do better NOW if it levelled up in it's storytelling and visuals. Yeah, Marlon, it wouldn't be the same as the original, but some things need an uplift. 1 - Game of Thrones - Some of the best episodes were epic TV moments and the reasons why it worked was due to the level of storytelling and character work. A lot of the characters faded off into nothing and things were not resolved, left open ended. Like what happened to Dorn? Characters introduced and went nowhere. The last season was rushed and mandem were teleporting everywhere. But the Red Wedding, Hard Home, Battle of the Bastards, just to name a few were the reasons why this show became event TV.

Nate, 'I am number 5' I think it was called. I agree Merv is correct, RoboCop 2014 deserved a sequel. Big Trouble in Little China was meant to be remade with The Rock, but I do not think they will continue with The Rock now. Jumper was decent and deserved a sequel. Live.Die.Repeat was great and they are working on a sequel. With 'Inception', because they left it like that on purpose, they couldn't do a sequel, but I'll raise you a 'Tenet'. Tenet could have a sequel. And maybe....maybe 'Interstellar'.

I hear you Kel, in regards to House of the Dragon in comparison to Game of Thrones, there are more characters with more storylines so I completely agree with you. And what Nate said, the family beef, family and community...I think what HotD had done, they have focused too much on the "main" characters or what we currently see as the "main" characters so when we see them not heading towards where we know they are heading, it seems like they are longing it out. That one or two episodes with the Tully's, Starks and whichever family, currently I do not care for them. If it were GoT, you know they would have fleshed out the characters a bit more so we could see what is happening in different areas of Westeros and how it impacts the bigger story. Right now, Damon was stuck in Luigi's Mansion only to come out for his queen. To me that was great storytelling because they wanted to show the fight and struggle Damon has. When you parallel him with Aemond, you can see how both of them will be an ill-fit to be ruler, since we can now see Aemond doing a madness. They need to spend more time with the other characters basically.

I think Daemon's current arc is for him to question if he really wants the throne or not. He is having dreams of the past and how he saw things with his brother and how he wasn't there for his brother also down to his own f'ups. At the same time, he is trying to gather an army but keeps getting in his own way. By the end of it, he will either join Rhaenyra or go against her.

Nah Nate, HC was near the beginning of the movie, at least the first act. Breaking this down to cameos in the first act, it's the usual DP lot, then Happy. When he goes on his quest for the Anchor, you see all the different Logans. That's at the beginning bro.

Can we all clap for Merve talking the tings please. Whatever expectations you put onto the movie is your own business, Nate accompanied by your dislike for Ryan and Deadpool, you were never really going to fully like it.

Also, The Deep hasnt fought anyoje in the show, if i can remember, A-Train has a d Black Noir. Whilst I agree The Dep maybe should have died with a weight tonthe head, i think a bullet to the head would do it and also do sister sage if you get the right part of the brain, as it was highlighted in the episode or bullet to the heart. Kimiko speaking is an arc for her. Neuman dying was unnecessary but she was not feared becUse she was vying to be in office. From what i can tell, all supes have super strength or most. Love sausage is he nemesis to Mothers Milk I think I read somewhere. The bigger picture of The Boys is Homelander being president...all 4 seasons is leading up to that and i would not agree that all the episodes are the same or rinse and repeat. Season 5 is gonna be mad!

I will ask though: House of the Dragon is about the 'Dance of the Dragons', do any of you (especial Richard) know why they are fighting and who is fighting for what? These man are going to tell you the story and in detail so if they kick off the war now, how many seasons do you think the war would go on for once it starts and what is the reasoning behind different characters' motivations? Also, it is called 'world building' when you bring in them man at The Wall who are to play a part in the war, etc. I really find it difficult to understand why some of you cannot get with the whisperers and their roles and do not care about the characters when it is the characters who are fighting. Character development. As you are watching Game of Thrones from season 1 for the first time, there isn't much excitement is there, it is more intrigue than anything.

I absolutely loved the show. But I did roll my eyes to the back of my head at yet another black majority show set in a world I have never been in, and doesn't represent any black person I know. I find it tiresome that once again the world is given the impression that all black people are crime adjacent, say wagwan and use the n word liberally. Either it's a slavery movie or a tv series set in a small area of the country where crime is the norm. But I must stress, despite this, I loved it. Well shot, great pacing and outstanding casting. Highlighting Sickle Cell was genius. Can't wait for season 2. Perhaps one day there will be a black majority show set in the countryside, or a small town where crime and drugs has nothing to do with the storyline. Great discussion.

Why can't people accept that Rodney could end up in Scotland? Rodney had no control and could have run so fast-like the Flash-that his atoms passed through obstacles. Plus, Rodney's powers also include super healing. His body could have healed any damage he experienced during that first run to Edinburgh. Trying to rationalize superpowers too much can prevent you from suspending disbelief. If everything has to make sense on that level, why even watch a superhero story?
