Omron temp controllers didn't used to be thus hard to program. Would not recommend them to anyone for any purpose.

S-ERROR is a sensor error, this depends on your input type. Find out what input you have, go on the datasheet, and find what you have to change the input type to. Once you have that, hold the blank key and set IN-T to that number. That should fix it. If it doesn't then you might of had a dud input

You have the input set wrong. Set CN-t to 5 (default is 5). I did the same thing.
Hi. I am facing some issues. when I use mode after the appearance of r-5 rUn, then it pops up the main screen( display 1 and display 2 instead of alarm menu). So, I can't see alarm settings. Please guide me in this regard. Thanks

Im guessing since its 4 years later, this wont be any help. But thats key protect. You press the blank key and circular arrow key together and go to the parameter PFPT and turn that off, that should fix your issue
Hi, could you please upload a tutorial video on how to set a temperature program using the E5CN controller? sorry if this sounds dumb but we have one unit of ashing furnace with the omron controller but no is one trained on how to use it. Besides, its totally different than that the Eurotherm we are used to, thanks
