You dont need a midpipe. Stock exhaust is 2 pc. Headers and end can. SC project does not come with a mid pipe.

@@freet3067 There is no removable midpipe. If you're trying to do a cat delete, you will need to cut the stock exhaust.

@@freet3067 I know on sc project website some exhausts show removable end cans and midpipes, the one i got is one piece welded together. I did not order it that way, thats how it came to my door. SC projects said that the new design.

The slip on removes the whole exhaust canister.You will need a servo delete or a tune to turn the servo off.

@@ffukk There is one more cat in the midpipe between the headers and slipon. Dont want it to be too loud.

@@JENX1976hey again, got the sc slip-on on my 675r as well and is getting tuned as we speak. i was also wondering how you mounted the right side belly since it used to be attached to the stock exhaust. and where did you get those lever guards

@@ffukk I cut the mounting spot off the old exhaust and re-used it. Lever guards are driven brand. Got them online from sportsbiketrackgear.com

@@JENX1976 no my friend, your vid just popped up in my feed and being a Brit with family in the Triumph factory I just had to comment. Also I think bike riders are a bit unique in that we try to help each other no matter what. I can see your not trying to break lap records but we can all be better right? Genuinely just trying to help 👍

It can be demoralising when guys pass you on track. It might not be because your slow just that your on the wrong line. Local knowledge and instructors are invaluable with this. 👍👍

@@terryfier Yeah been there done that. Now I'm old and fat so being passed no longer bothers me. I do enjoy track riding but sadly can't be there every weekend. So when I am there, I tend to take it easier than most.

Also I should say only EVER ride within your own comfort zone. I only ride on track days around 85-90% ability. That gives me mental capacity and safety margin to analyse my performance per lap, be aware of others around me and afford my laundry! 😂

Sorry I no longer own the bike. It was way more comfortable than the clip ons. But made the already hard seat feel much harder due to the upright position.

Sorry I do not know how long the brake lines are. I bought this as a kit from sportbiketrackgear.com , it came with everything I needed in order to do the conversion. Installation is very simple. The hardest part was getting the ignition switch removed from the old triple clamp. ( the bolts needed to be drilled out ) If you're trying to do your own conversion, the stock FZ07 or FZ09 or even the FZ10 brakes lines might work.

JE NX thanks for reply and yes im trying to do it my self i have top clamp just need break lines and handle bars is that all that needed to be changed just break lines or did clutch and throttle need to be done also

yes clutch and throttle cables also need to be changed. The stock ones wont reach.

Any issue with the ride by wire throttle??

Cat was removed with a Perrin cat delete pipe. Megan racing down pipe. No resonator on the HKS cat back. :D

There were lots of potholes on the road up to the trail head. Cars wont have any issues though. I drove my lancer on there and went pretty easy. Bring some bug spray. And yes the view up top is worth it all. :D

Sorry I already sold the bike. It felt really nice and upright. Turning was easier cause of the wider handles. But the hard seat of the R6 felt even harder because of the seating position. Installation was easy and I did not need to modify the windscreen like the product description says.
