I got lost in stores several times because I wouldn't stay still so my mom finally used a leash to keep me from wandering, she used it a little differently though, while I was always moving my little brother never moved so she attached me to him making him my anchor and never getting anywhere and when I had a kid of my own I used one on him too, he had a lot of energy last thing I wanted was for him to run off or something while crossing the street.

My eldest needed a harness as she ran away every time we went out. If there was water around, she'd throw herself in. Harnesses are fabulous for keeping kids at that independent age from getting lost.

My oldest son s pediatrician told me to use a harness - it s better than having your toddler disappear. A friend of mine and I took him to a mall but he started crying and lied on his back like that so I put him in his stroller and gave him a bottle.

My son had one that was 30 years ago good for him I see this every day two kids got hit by cars so mind your own business well done day 😂❤

When I was young, everyone put reins on their young children to keep them safe. If he's treating his children like dogs - then good! Dogs are loved, fed, exercised and protected. Who would want less for their children.

I would normally say it's wrong, but he has 5 little ones to care for! And they are at the age when they don't care... they run, they hide, they walk away from the parents.... He's actually very sensible for using the harnesses to make sure the kids are safe! I have twins and that was hard enough when they were small! But 5 of them? You can't control them.....

I used to criticise people that used harnesses. then when I was heavily pregnant with my second child while having to chase a 1.5 year old, I thought it was a godsend 😂 Good life lesson for me.

Imagine if they all ran in five different directions at once 😮😅 scary and dangerous if you're alone trying to make sure you keep 5 little ones safe 😢❤

They have no idea! He is making sure his kids are safe.

I had them for my sons. One of them would run into the street in a heartbeat. The harness was such a safety feature. I was often critized and one person looked at us and barked like a dog.
