Ashen is grandiose no shit. For me it's easily an aoty. Some bands are good with some songs while HLB is a fucking quintessence of everything a man with a reallly good taste in music can enjoy. I love their lyrics that provide a hatred towards humanity cause I hate himanity and what it has done with the world. Linger is ma favourite and Blood spilled is absolutely undeniably stunning especially as a opening song. The album is a beautiful dark tale about some hellish journey of a soul after death into nothingness, well, at least that's how I see it. This is my favorite band but for a purpose of course. Buster is a real music genius. I've never seen such an incarnation of music itself before. Maybe except for Mike Shinoda. So nice review ma friend. Thank you for paying such a well-deserved attention to HBL. It's a gem in a world of heavy music.

This album is so weird, I totally agree with you, but have you ever seen art that is stupid but has high artistic value for some people? The reality is Judging from the traces of their past work, we know their skills, we know their musicality. So i think this album is like a total market overhaul, where they really get out of their commercial zone And make really weird experimental songs. even though we hate it but they are still on the throne, Just imagine you are making an album like this and have a concert, will it be sold out? And because of this album, our expectations for the next album will decrease, and that will make it easier for them to be liked again, This strategy has often been carried out in the kpop industry, When a band already has diehard fans, They like to do crazy things with their music, like switching genres, or concepts that are really good at keeping the public's attention, Which is a good business strategy.

I think its a great album, where you decide yourself, if this is real, or a ego death experience, well mr Shadows told me this..lol A7X took a lot of tracks, anmd milked it all down, then colide it again, and i think they did it good.. the concept is of cause on the weird side i admit, but its actually great to just listen to this album, from start to finish, with headphones..

I thought you were exaggerating on the production because a lot of people say that regarding any modern release because it’s produced tightly. But holy shit it’s actually blown out. And yeah that kick is atrocious. Another thing I thought maybe you just don’t like modern drum production but nope. I haven’t listened yet, but I honestly think I might just save the time and check out their older stuff. That’s crazy how they passed when it’s such an easy fix. Given modern tech you have to try to fuck up a master that bad.

my Favorit bands are amaranthe,polyhia and i listen to Skillet back in the day but i like alot of genres of music like dubstep,pop,rap,rnb,classic, rock heavy metal and so on but when i check my spotify there always new genras thet i have never heard of that i listen to. i mostly listen to songs not whole albums adn my favorit atist is FOXSTEVENSEN.

I agree with the review. Everything sounds similar since Death Magnetic. Metallica is still ripping live however and could likely continue to tour for a few years. In fact, I don't know of another band that switches their setlist live more than Metallica. It's downright impressive.
