In this video, I opened the $50 tier of the August 2024 Tactical Box. Not gonna lie. Was a bit disappointed. Two of the five items were exact repeats from a few months back. Do you think I should give it another few months, or dump Tactical Box and look into another subscription box? If so, which one do you suggest?

Ive gotten several of these types of bags this one is pretty decent. IDK about $300 but still a good item to have. Problem with these types of kits is people buy them but never open them, and think they have everything they need. Thats why I do videos like this one on my channel too. Its good we show them what they get and what they dont get. Great video brother.

Instead of carrying emergency water you can probably put a hyration bladder in that first section of your pack you showed. learn to filter water, get a sawyer squeeze and a cnoc to gather dirty water. Get out there and use your gear. Go camping.
Works great when you live where water is abundant, having those packets which are not terribly heavy as a backup is still wise.
Great video brother. Yeah BattlBox not my favorite they used to be a lot better but they always have quality stuff and definitely better than Tactical Box.
I am not the biggest fan of Battlbox they used to be really good but going into the 3d or 4th year started to go downhill, thats being said still miles ahead of Tactical Box. Good video brother. Keep it up
I figured I'd give them a shot. I like the fact they try supporting American small businesses. They do have some made in China stuff, but even those seem better made than what I was getting from Tactical Box. I don't think I ever received "name brand" gear from TB.
Well thank you i was going to open 1 more for my channel nut after seeing that blood pressure cup I'm definitely not going to keep it for my channel. Ill stick with my SHTF box, it might be some crazy stuff but definitely more worth the money. I look forward to your next choice great video brother.

This will be the last Tactical Box opening. I've decided to give BattlBox a try.
So, i got the free upgrade to pro level on this box, I did not get the retro lamp, i got the other three items plus a butane stove and a bag a small bag like a tool box, the large light is legit but, i think this box is sketchy, I'll keep watching your openings but I'm pretty sure I'll get 1 more box but then I'm out. Another great video brother.

Ive been getting SHTF Box like 2.5 years and have yet to get a karambit. Oddly enough
I got a really nice sling shot in my Mystery SHTF Box a couple months ago, even included the shot. Sling shots are underrated in my opinion as valid items for hunting food in a SHTF situation, quiet and the ammunition can be as simple as small rocks

I think of all three boxes the valet tray is probably the most useless and its fine but not large. Still interesting boxes I might consider this box just for the novelty. Not bad boxes but i agree doesn't offer a lot to help us out in prepping brother.
Yeah, the boxes came with interesting stuff, but I wanted something more for prepping. It would make a good gift idea.

They advertise it as paying $50 and getting $150 in gear. I definitely don't think you're getting that much, but as long as I get at least my $50 back, I'm OK with it.

Just did and they're not the most powerful set in the world, but they're decent and seem really well made. I've got a more powerful set in my truck. I'll put this one in the car.
It's cheaper to make your own PAK's and you'll end up with redundancies to fall back on.
I'm going to have to call an audible any way. The company I was going to order from has a $100 minimum order, which makes it stupid to sell a kit's modules separately. If I have to spend at least $100, why not just buy the whole set?

Everybody always pushes the Leatherman and Gerber ones, but they're so freakin expensive. I figured I'd give the Mossy Oak a try and so far it hasn't disappointed.

Welcome Jimmy to yt. I am a old prepper(74) been ready for ever. Most of my family think I'm crazy, so I'm prepping for them too. Being a Prepper is not an easy life, I have lost friends and family who think I've gone off the deep end. With the way things have been going in this world, I think they will have to rethink their opinions. I am in Middle TN. Good luck with your channel.
