Troubleshooting a LabVIEW install
Просмотров 655Год назад
I had some issues after installing LabVIEW and the ELVIS tools on my computer probably because of previous installs or too many other software changes. LabVIEW and the ELVIS tools seemed slow and wouldn't recognize the ELVIS board. This video shows some steps I took to troubleshoot and fix the issue.

Using an Arduino to capture negative analog voltages
Просмотров 2,7 тыс.Год назад
The 10-bit Arduino analog signal acquisition can only take 0-3.3 volts. So how can you get an analog signal that has some negative voltages (like in this example, an ECG signal that has all DC removed)? This video explains how.
Using DC-DC step up boost converter to power Arduino Nano 33 IoT
Просмотров 1,9 тыс.Год назад
I couldn't power an Arduino Nano 33 IoT using a 9V battery, but had more success using a boost converter to increase the voltage out of my battery. Link to Digikey page with lots of info on boost converters: www.digikey.com/en/articles/generating-a-high-dc-output-voltage-from-a-low-input-supply

Thank you, it's very helpful!
hello, great video. can you upload the file of your labview with DAQ Assist?
Thank you so much.
Thanks, not in your class but I was setting mine up scope up after 2 years in storage. I knew that the driver or cable was bad, it was the cable. Thanks from a science nerd and microscopy artist in N.E. Ohio. I envy the student, didn't really start getting back heavily into hands on biology till 2021 or so, in my 50s.
pls @SivamSakthivel can you help contact Dan
please i urgently need it please
Great job, sir. please can you help with the link to where the drivers as well as the software could be downloaded
Muchas gracias, mister la saco del estadio, todos mis compañeros vimos el mismo video e hicimos el mismo puente, sacmos (2.0) porque creyeron que nos copiamos, gracias señor
It not clear sir.
thank you 🥰
Thank you!! Helping me with my palaeontology undergraduate.
hello. I have a question.would you please help me?I want to count the number of grafts inside the plates with the Fiji (filament detector). how can i do that(can i have your email address i want to send photos of analysis)
I have a +/- 10 V signal from a voltage clamp that I'd like to convert to 0 - 4.5 V using similar op amp set up: www.circuitlab.com/circuit/n49r88ahw3xh/autosave-2024-07-25t17_31_37_003z/ I have two questions: (1) Where is the 4.5V in your diagram coming from? (2) Are you powering the op amps with a 9V battery? I thought the op amp needed both positive and negative DC. Thanks! BK
Hello Dan, what is major difference b/w Project Libre vs Redmine ?
I have not used or heard of Redmine. I get the impression that Project Libre is intended to mimic Microsoft Project functionality as much as possible...in the same way that the LibreOffice suite is meant to mimic Microsoft Office (but LibreOffice and Project Libre are unrelated). I did a search for Redmine and it appears to not be as popular on the search engines...
What if my NI Max do not show up the reset configuration data, how to restore it?
I would try the steps suggested here: knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q000000YHcVCAW&l=en-US
Is voltage divider dc offset simple andbetter or by using a op-amp ? What are the pros and cons??
You could use just resistors, but you will end up with a circuit with likely higher than desired impedance on the output. The advantage of the op-amp is very low output impedance, therefore you can use it to drive a variety of things. In this case, going to an Arduino shouldn't be too big of deal because Arduino analog input pins have very high impedance. But if you wanted to drive a motor or speaker or something that needs some current, using a voltage divider and only resistors to make a summing circuit is not going to work well. The only cons of using the op-amp is more complexity (space) and cost.
This helps me a LOT! I just need a simple control+M to manually many particles.
Excellent!
This is Marc from ProjectLibre.... this popped on my radar with Google alerts.... it is terrific you are using ProjectLibre at UA Austin. We are major proponents of PM in education. One note for your macOS users. It gives a ominous warning saying it will not install. They need to go to System Preferences then Security/Privacy and allow the install. It is a long story but Apple is getting sued for this conduct as we are downloading from Sourceforge not their store. I run on a Mac also and it is required to install the 1st time to allow in the Security/Privacy section.... Good luck to you and the students. PM is an amazing skillset and potential career
Thank you this was a wonderfully explained video!
Do you have a protocol for this whole work to share??
Thanks a lot for such a clear tutorial!
Hi, new version of python + cygwin already resolved the prob of the upper arrow issue ;) Thx for the video. Now we can go ahead and start learning openAI with python interaction
What is that blurred part
Hi I downloaded image J, but I cannot see the menu / toolbar, where it shows file, analyse, etc… how can I make that appear ?
It's really helpful. Thanks a lot.
can you edit the same file? How do you do that with two different people collaborating? Can you demo that? That's like the most useful thing
you can't work on the same file at the same time. That would be a bad idea. Co-authoring (which != collaborating) is not the ideal if you are trying to maintain version control and product integrity. The Fusion360 versioning system works pretty well to collaborate. If you have a file in the same project with a team, anybody on the team can open the file and edit it and it will create another version. But you probably still want to have a system in place to make sure that you can merge changes if something happens where multiple people are making edits at the same time.
Very useful! Thank you so much!!
i have picture in which i have a sample with known length and there are humps in that sample. its a 2d picutre of sample. i want to cover its humps and want to put on xy-graph to measure its amplitude at various points.. i dont know how to do
Why are you whispering and the audio is over-normalised over added bass, faar from how human sounds. Good content, good video btw, but very bad audio
THANK YOU!!!
how to draw a square from specific area of picture as magnification square?
I was not able to run the Python file. was working on it for a straight 10 hrs. Your video saved me, man!!! thank you!!
Hey, that's pretty cool! Do you happen to have the code to acquire the signal please? Thank you!
great video! thanks so much!
awsome!!!!!!
are you powering it through the Vin pin?
yes
Thank you Consider becoming a Muslim if you're not :) When I see people who are helpful I remember the Prophet Muhammed peace be upon Him saying: "The best of people are those who are most beneficial to people."
Which opamp was using in this circuit? Thanks
