i downloaded data.sav file fro my mail but the downloaded file opens in notepad and in decrypted form.i am not getting my original data that i saved after doing spss in another pc. can you please help.Thank you.
Hello there. Great example. How can we check how many people ticked every single box (all that apply) and correlate it to the total percentage? tried filter but didnt help, as it sorts outs and there was no correlation. i do not have any experience, only watched tutorials..thank you
You still can, the only requirements for chi-square test is for both variables to be nominal variables. But since one of the cell is less than 5, you pick the p value from the derivative of chi-square test, in this case the fisher's exact test, cmiiw.
I haft to provide a table that displays the name of the variables, whether it is a dependant or independent variable, and the type of variable i.e. (categorical, ordinal , or continuos. Is there any spss genius out there who knows how to put only this information in a table output using spss or is there no way t do it. its for a project. I would greatly appreciate the help.
Super helpful! Thank you so much :)
Very briefly described
Then on the measure characteristics of the variable .. we will choose the scale norminal or ordinal ...?
Depends with the type of data to be applied
Thank you so much

thanks bro it was very helpful I have a question please, how can I compare two ID in SPSS? thanks in advance.
I thought you cant use the chi square test if more than 20% of the cells have a value of less than 5? in your case its even 50%
